Product Description

Ride-Rite air helper springs mount between the frame and the suspension of light-trucks, vans, and motorhomes. The heavy-duty convoluted air springs will handle all leveling needs with load carrying capacities between 3,200-5,000 pounds per set. Ride-Rite air helper springs will level the vehicle front-to-rear and side-to-side, stabilize the vehicle while loaded, maximize vehicles load carrying capacity and features adjustability 5-100 Pascal per square inch. Each kit is weighed to ensure component count and each air spring is pressure tested before leaving the factory. Over 1 million cycle life test. It is ISO certified. Can be used on pick-Ups, class A,B,C motorhomes, vans, commercial vehicles and SUV's. Awesome product

Installed on an '03 f-250 4wd. Truck didn't have a plow prep package and I put a plow on it about 6 years ago. Last year I installed timbrens but that was a mistake. The springs were already sagging so much the timbrens sat on the axel with the truck unloaded.Installation took about an hour an I didn't even have to take the tires off, just turned them to full lock. Sharp 3/8 inch bit is a must. Ratcheting 9/16 wrench would have made things even quicker. The truck rides great with or without the plow, much better than it used to. Even at full pressure it rides better than before I put the bags in. I like these so much I'm going to order a set for the back.

great air bags

Recently installed on the front of our 96 f-250 4x4 7.3l farm truck. The springs were fatigued, and due to the independent front suspension, this allowed the tires to lean in to the point where they couldn't be properly aligned. Installed kit and adjusted air pressure to where tires were level. Works for me. Install was straightforward and took a brisk hour or so. Air or 110v electric drill and a new 3/8" drill bit are highly recommended.

Totally control

Love having totally control of my rear suspension which mean excellent ride all the time. The hardest thing in installing this on my 2005 dodge four door was find a spot to put it, I located it on the driver side under the rear passenger seat. It supports a 4000lbs lance truck camper with no problem. Thumbs up on firestone suspension products.

Pros:CompleteEasy to installPlenty of wire air tube lengthsCons:Little expensiveElectrical connectors are already crimped on the end of very long leads so I had to use new connectors to get rid of all the excess wire length.Compressor noisy but no big deal since it is rarely on.Good luck getting the air hoses out of the fittings if you need to without cursing a little.

Works great

Firestone 2071 Ride-Rite Air Springs Kit This kit gives a great ride and takes the load off the leaf springs. The only suggestion I have is to order the model that requires no drilling. The lines and wires behind the left frame were difficult to drill around and practically impossible to get the bolts through the frame. It can be done but takes forever, needs two people and more than just a socket set and open-end wrenches. Still, I'm glad I did it and very satisfied with the results.

Excellent Air Spring

The Firestone Ride Rite #2071 was installed on a 2008 F250.I installed the kit myself and time to install was less than 5 hours from start to finish. Instructions were provided and are very clear and easy to understand. All the components are very durable.The ride and handling are much better now that I have them installed. An excellent upgrade to any vehicle when you are close to the max GVWR.
