Product Description

High output true single-coil for warm instruments. Perfect for Texas blues-rock, classic rock and heavy rock. Though it looks like the SSL-1 and has that distinct vintage tone, the SSL-5's over-wound coil yields higher output, more sustain and great harmonics. The result is a pickup that rocks hard and cuts through the mix, but cleans up nicely when you back off the volume. Includes white cover.

For heavier and brighter-toned instruments with ash or alder bodies. Works well with maple or rosewood fingerboards.

Comfortably Numb, anyone?

I bought this for the bridge of my David Gilmour replica Black Strat on the recommendation of Gilmourish.com (fellow Floyd fans, check out Bjorn's website, it is the holy grail of Gilmour). It is an amazing pickup, perfectly overwound and oh so musical. Sounds fantastic both clean and with distortion

Great bridge pickup to pair with the SSL-1

I don't own these personally but my closest guitar playing friend has this pickup paired with the SSL-1 in the neck and middle positions. This combination will get you call those classic strat sounds you've dreamed off. I personally think it is better to have a hotter pickup on the bridge and this pickup really delivers. If you need hotter than this, consider a quarter pounder instead.

I purchased this SSL-5 to use in the bridge position of my MIM Strat that I converted into a poor man's version of the David Gilmour black Strat and I couldn't be happier with the tone and twang.

Fantasitc Easel Scetch Box

Fine craftsmanship. The box is lightweight and small when folded into a "suitcase" if you will. It offers moderate storage with adjustable metal trays. You can draw or paint at any angle from horizontal to vertical. My wife uses it for oil pastels. We had a nice piece of 1/8" plywood laying around and cut her a drawing board that fits perfectly into the notched grooves. We both highly recommend this easel/sketch box.

Had P code 0031 on my 2002 Subaru VDC (both check engine light and VDC off lights were on). Changed front sensor there are two, I only replaced one! Great deal on Amazon sensor + install at dealer $385 and at my mechanic only paid $25 for install! took like 5 mins!

It works but has no Bosch markings anywhere!

Item installed just fine and seems to work ok. I have driven 200 miles with it so far and no issues. My only concern is that this item has not one single marking, stamp or indication that this is a Bosch sensor. Is has no markings to determine where it was made (US, Germany, China?). It came in a plain white box in a clear bag with nothing but a barcode that referred to nothing when looked up on the internet. I've bought real Bosch sensors before and this one raised a lot of red flags. They usually come with some kind of anti-seize on the threads, the sensor ends come capped, all plastic wire holders are included AND it comes in a Bosch box with Bosch markings on the sensor. This one has none of those. 3 stars because it works.

works great

At 120,000 miles my 2003 wrx threw the P0031 code. I tried clearing the code, and it came right back. This was the cheapest I found the sensor, so I bought it here. I swapped it out and code hasn't come back. Installation was easy with the o2 sensor crowfoot socket.

Worked Perfectly

This was for my 2004 Subaru WRX. I had to replace it due to the check engine light. During the time, I was getting about 20 mpg. After replacing it with this Bosch O2 sensor, the check engine light immediately went away and I was getting over 25 mpg! It's awesome. The installation was also very easy, it was a perfect fit.
