Product Description

ZEX EFI Wet Nitrous System for 8 Cylinder Engines is designed to provide anywhere from 75-125 additional horsepower. It can be installed on stock type engines or turbocharged/supercharged vehicles in about 2 hours. All necessary components are shipped with the kit including tuning jets, fuel tap fittings and a Nitrous Management Unit that contains solenoids, filters and activation electronics.

Crane Cams 274 H06 Camshaft and Lifter Kit for Chevrolet V8 Engine is economically priced. They are designed with single pattern profiles and tighter lobe separation to produce additional torque and throttle response for non-computer street vehicles. This series provides broad coverage for several different engine selections. It provides a wide RPM power range for any street enthusiast. There are Energizer cams suitable for the low RPM, high torque needs of a towing vehicle. While others are more suitable for daily drive with an eye on economy, and more radical camshaft selections, right up to a weekend warrior with a street and strip machine. Some selections would even work great for oval track racing. These popular Energizer cams are made available in either a "cam and lifter kit" or as "cam only". Both are priced to be the best buy in a true performance camshaft. The rough idle option: certain Energizer grinds incorporate very tight lobe separation angles of 106–108 degrees. This feature has two purposes. The first, to concentrate the torque range and maximize bottom end power. Secondly, to produce rough engine idle characteristics. This feature brings the power band on early and builds quickly to help launch a drag car off the starting line or to get an oval track car out of the turn. It will also light up the tires at the drive-in. The tighter lobe separation changes the valve timing events, increasing the overlap period, producing a rougher engine idle.

Rump-Rump Cam!!!

If you want a nice potato-potato-potato idle in your small block Chevy and still have a very streetable cam, this 274H06 will do it. Has a short 218-218 @.050 duration but ground on a 106 LSA. It will work fine in a 8.5 c.r. 350 crate motor. My use is in a 260 hp GM crate motor in a 81 Corvette with a 4 speed and 3.73 gears. Has a nice lopey idle at 900 rpm's and has lots of low and mid range power. People I have talked have used in 327's also and with automatics and 3.08 rear ends and they like it very much. You get the big cam sound without the low speed blues that you get with other bigger duration camshafts.

great cam

This is a great cam that will not only give you that rumpity rump idle you crave but great performance as well. I installed it into my 69 camaro 350 with low compression crate motor heads and it is amazing. It pulls hard from 1800 rpm to redline and works fine with 3.08 gears although it is a 4 speed car. Works ok with stock springs too. Thumbs up from me!

Looks Cool

I have four 130watt KC Hilite Long range beams sitting on the light bar (on top of Jeep Cherokee). The bar holds them well and they look really cool. I cut and installed the light bar myself (not a mechanic by any means). It was not too difficult to install. The reason I give it 4 stars versus 5 stars is I feel like it could be mounted on the car with a slightly more secure method. I was nervous it would fall off so had my mechanic check it and tighten it up a bit.

Wimpy mounting brackets

I installed it by mounting to the frame rather than the rocker panel using self threading bolts I obtained elsewhere. I was worried about the sheet metal of the rocker panel being strong enough. The loop looks and functions well, but the mounting brackets seem wimpy for their purpose.The back portion should be reinforced or maybe some creases added to increase rigidity. The only flex in the system once they are mounted is at the back of the mounting brackets.

Useless instructions, but nice steps

I bought these for a 2012 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. Attempting to follow the instructions I quickly realized Carr's measurements were wrong. I did my own measuring and found the correct measurements and had no problem after that. Sent Carr an e-mail about the wrong measurements, but never heard back. I also called and talked to the mexican kid that puts them on for them and he said he hadn't seen a 2012 Sierra yet, which was probably the problem. Anyway, now that they are on they are sturdy and look nice.

VERY NICE Exhaust System!!

This was a great purchase! We were a little skeptical because so many reviews we read said it was too quiet or too loud. We have a 1994 YJ wrangler with the 4.7 Jeep Stroker engine and we also put the exhaust on with a catalytic converter, it has an awesome rumble! My husband and I are very satisfied with the Monster Banks exhaust system. Its just loud enough to make some noise...on a 1-10 scale of noise level I would give it about a 6 but keep in mind we are used to hearing the loud two brother dual exhaust on his crotch rocket. & we didn't want it too loud. But as the RPMs rise, so does the noise level! The system also tucks very nicely up above the axle and out of the way. We did have to jack up the frame a little bit to get the pipe to where it needed to be on the exhaust hangers.
