4Easy to install, nice sound, decent power.

First off the cuff, for city driving, the fuel savings with this intake is probably negligent to 1MPG but I have noticed a bit of an increase in power. The instructions were exceptional with the exception of installing the temperature sensor for my 4.0L I6 Jeep TJ. My intake had a hole cut for the temperature sensor on my jeep but installing the sensor was a bit of a pain because, well you are given a rubber gasket and there is one already on the sensor in a slightly different form and it wasn't readily apparent that the gasket needed to be removed and replaced with the provided gasket. Either way, I still love the intake, the sound, the power. Installed in 30 minutes and that was largely because I've never screwed around with an engine like this before so I was being very cautious. Mostly satisfied with the item and install. Good project for someone not afraid to turn wrench. It's not like you have to change belts or adjust timing or anything like that. I would recommend keeping your factory parts. You never know, you may want to do a snorkel and often times the factory box needs to be modified. But at least you'll have options depending on what type of driving you plan on doing.

5Xtra Power, Great Sound, Short Install

This item was a piece of cake to install and really eliminated the sluggishness I got after installing a lift and heavier 33"s on my Wrangler. Install was quick and simple. Less than 30 minutes. Noticed immediate difference in pick-up acceleration. Also, it has a nice "growlll" when stomping on the gas......Great choice and will be buying another for our Yukon. Thanks.

I purchased this unit to replace a very tired K&N intake that was installed by the previous owner on my 2003 Jeep Wrangler (4.0 Sport). This unit fit very well and trumped the K&N intake in overall build quality.

(H22A4, VTEC) Built for the Honda Prelude... Obtaining the optimum cylinder head-to-block sealing is especially critical in small displacement engines employing high compression pistons or power adders like turbochargers, nitrous oxide and superchargers. That's why ARP head studs are popular among leading Sport Compact/Import racers.You should know that ARP uses a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to "aircraft" quality. Then, each stud is precisely heat-treated to 200,000 psi. Following heattreat, each stud is centerless ground to make it as close to perfectly concentric as possible. This procedure involves about ten very slight cuts and results in an exceptionally straight part. It's important to note that lesser quality studs are not even centerless ground the material is thread rolled in bar stock form (mostly before heat-treat, when the material is easier to machine). Because ARP studs are manufactured to such exacting tolerances, you will note that gaskets and cylinder heads literally glide into position and are perfectly aligned something that won't happen with inferior quality head studs.ARP studs are thread rolled after heat-treat, which gives them about 1000% (that's ten times) better fatigue strength than those studs that are threaded prior to heat-treat.You will also note that ARP offers specially undercut studs for several engines. This procedure (done only to the shorter studs) more equalizes the "stretch" of both studs, which makes for a more consistent clamping force one that compensates for head gasket compression when the head is installed. This helps prevent blown head gaskets, and assures optimum sealing!

You can't go wrong with these studs. ARP makes an awesome product. The moly grease is included, however, I do suggest you buy a deep, 12-pt, 1/2" drive, 14mm socket for installation. It's possible with a 3/8" drive, but the other specs are required.

Excellent product, removal and installation is not for the faint of heart but worth it. If you can get it done by someone else for $100 let them do it. If you are replacing a bag (they do wear out) buy the whole kit, less $$$ in the long run.m.t.e.

5Great product

This is the second set of Air Lifts I have installed on a Class A motor home. While the instructions are good, putting them into practice isn't quite so easy. I was able to roll them as instructed. When I inserted them they went pretty easily to the mid-point, where there is a ridge and this caused me problems for whatever the reason. Bu twisting, I eventually was able to get the bag all the way up. It is amazing how good they are and what support they can provide.

I actually purchased this airbag kit for a 2005 VW Golf (TDi). After some research I found it would fit the rear springs on this vehicle (any MKIV VW, non-R32).I do occasional towing with my car. The car has plenty of power to tow what I need. I tow two different trailers, one is a two place snowmobile trailer and another is a popup camper with a total weight of about 1900 lbs. The airbags do a great job of leveling the rear end. In the past I would have the rear of the car sagging, which would also lift the front end, making traction hard to obtain on slick surfaces as well as point my headlights up. With the camper this became a problem because I had very little ground clearance on the back of the vehicle, and many times the hitch would scrape on dirt roads, etc.This kit does a great job of leveling the car, and giving me more clearance. Of course when I do not need the extra height, I deflate the airbags down to 5 psi.

I used these in conjunction with jetta wagon springs for the rear of my 1999 new beetle. They allow me to carry much heavier loads than stock and stabilize the rear end when I move my car hauler around.(empty)

BEING A WHEELCHAIR USER FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE, I JUST HAD THEM INSTALLED LAST WEEK AND HAS SAVED MY UNDER VEHICLE LIFT FROM BEING DESTROYED BY SPEED HUMPS AND POORLY DESIGNED ENTRY WAYS WHEN ENTERING AND LEAVING PARKING LOTS IN MY TRAVELS. IT HAS GIVEN ME AN ADDITIONAL 2-3 INCHES OF CLEARANCE IN THE FRONT OF MY VEHICLE. THE LAST SPEED HUMP COST ME AROUND $500 TO FIX MY VEHICLE. MY VEHICLE IS ALMOST 10 YEARS OLD AND SPRINGS MAY BE FATIQUED A LITTLE, BUT IT IS JUST TOO EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE VEHICLE AS A NEW ONE WOULD RUN IN EXCEED OF $70K TO HAVE A NEW BUILT JUST FOR ME.

4coil spring air bag kit

I could have installed the AIR LIFT kit in about 2 hrs. if the valve installed at the top of bag wouldn't have blown out when inflating to 30 psi. I went to the hardware store and purchased many spring clips like the ones included with kit for attaching air lines and put 2 on each valve. This seems to work o.k. for now. I emailed and called (Voice Mail) Air Lift about the problem and have not received a reply. That was 3 wks. ago so their customer service stinks if you need help with a defect. The bags work exactly like I had hoped by increasing spring rate ( making front suspension stiffer ) to carry extra weight when needed. I have a front receiver hitch I use with a cargo rack. When I loaded 300 lbs. on the front of my vehicle the stock suspension would bottom out on bumps / dips. With the air bags I can determine how stiff I want the suspension by psi + / - the vehicle will never bottom out again.If inflated to higher psi the bags will raise ride height 1-2"and can throw front end out of alignment. You must measure front bumper height to ground and be careful not to raise much higher than the stock factory height or you may cause irregular tire wear.1 yr. later UPDATE: Air Lift did contact me after I wrote this and sent a full replacement. They told me to keep the old system. I still have not replaced the old system after installing the spring clips because it doesn't leak. the air bags work great when using front cargo rack etc. I love them and would suggest anybody who needs heavier springs on front consider these instead because when you remove the weight just reduce air psi and you still have that comfy ride.I use a large cargo rack on front, 400 + lb. is no prob. with air bags.
