4;)
By merkranger
I have used these for a couple years with the 3gd rotors on my svt brake converted sedan focus.Dust---What dust, I can go MONTHS without washing my wheels and all you see is road dirt.Braking---Smooth application, very controllable, and far superior to stack compounds.Wear---Even with the 3gd rotor slots the pad life seems to be pretty goodInvesting in a good set of pads and rotors can save your money, time, and maybe life....Drive safe, and know the limits.

5Excellent brake pads
By jakubx80
I used those brakes on Mazda 3s 2007. I initially put on Hawk HPS and matched it with a Power Slot Cryo rotors. That was a disaster. After a 1,000 miles I gave up. The brakes were so weak they'd not even activate the anti-lock brakes. After putting EBC on I couldn't be happier. These brakes are a noticeable improvement over OEM.

5Don't think twice, buy these boots!
By LG
So I bought a pair of Frye boots (for $180) and when I received them they were too big. I had to return them (no exchanges allowed), and when I went to buy the smaller size, the price of the boots went up to $238! So that's when I did some researching and found these FANTASTIC boots. I bought these for about 100 bucks- what a deal! When I opened up the box I was extremely happy with the boots; I can tell they are very high quality. I bought the Gaucho Distressed Leather and the color is awesome. And they smell sooo good, to boot! (pun intended) What can I say- I am one of those who loves the smell of good leather.DO NOT spend the extra money on Frye, these boots are just as nice- actually I think they're nicer. And, as others have suggested, buy 1/2 size smaller. I was leery but I got the 7 and it fits perfect (I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 8). Plus, my mom grew up in Durango, Mexico, so that makes the boot that much cooler (even though they're made in...China? Okay, a point deduction for that). Anyway, buy the boots, you won't regret it. Happy Holidays!January 14, 2012: Follow-up review...so after a having these boots for about a month, I have worn them a good 10 times or so. As I mentioned, I bought the boot 1/2 - 1 full size smaller than what I usually wear. The boot was still loose in the back when I tried them on but there was a flyer in the boot box explaining that it normal for it to be a little loose and that it should eventually take the shape of your foot and would form a tighter fit after wearing them. Well, unfortunately they have not improved in terms of fit- and I recently got a really bad blister on my heel due to my foot moving around too much. I took them to a shoe repair shop yesterday and they're going to try to address the issue for me, hopefully they can since I love these boots. So I would suggest to consider ordering 1 - 1 1/2 smaller than you usually wear. I think I should have returned them for a 6 1/2 (I typically wear 7 1/2 - 8) unfortunately I thought it would resolve itself. Just something to think about if you order these boots.

5over the top
By Sherry R. Ridner
Beyond expectations! Great for motorcycle riding, stylish looks, lots of compliments, rugged, strong, and will last forever. Sizes run 1/2 larger, exchanged them with no hassel. Company was great. Best boot I ever had. The distressed gaucho is a wonderful color. Want a pair in black also. Comfortable fit. They make you strut your stuff!

4Do the installation yourself and budget 5x time
By Tools4Life
Just finished installing this on my 1998 GMC Savana 3500. Took about 4-1/2 hours. Got it from another online retailer, but they don't have a review feature, so I'm posting here. Maybe it'll help others.Other vendor used cheap tape to pack it and attach accessories to it, which left most of its adhesive on the hitch. I may want to hose the dirt off it one day, so I spent time removing the adhesive. There were several spots where the powdercoat had been chipped off in handling/shipping, so I wiped them down with solvent and hit them with a few coats of Rustoleum.I shaved a lot of the undercoating off the frame rails to provide a more positive mounting surface for the hitch, rather than having a thick layer of goopy slop between the hitch and the frame. Cleaned some dirt out from the inside of the frame rails, so I wasn't bolting dirt between the backing plates and the frame. The rear set of holes inline with the main cross bar of the hitch were 1/8-in farther apart than the holes in the van, so I filed them, deburred the edges and touched up the bare steel with LPS Cold Galvanizing spray. That let me put the hitch up into position, where I could see that the forward holes didn't line up either. Used a stylus to mark the location of the frame holes from inside the rail, took the hitch back off, filed them to the scribe marks, deburred and zinced. Finally, with the hitch back in place one more time, there wasn't enough flat space on the hitch itself around the bolts for the large locking washers to bear, so I marked and trimmed three of the washers before final installation.Torqued everything. The forward plates are supposed to be arranged so their long direction goes from side to side of the frame rail. I started with them that way, but when I started torquing them, three of them rotated. I'll have to go back later and find a chunk of wood or metal the right width to put between the two plates so they can't turn while torqing. All done. The good thing is, it will tow the heck out of my stuff. This just illustrates why DIY is the way to go on so much of life. I wouldn't want this hitch installed on my vehicle with any of the above steps skipped, but I don't know how to find someone who would do all that, and wouldn't want to pay them for it in any case. One more detail to note, most photos of the hitch and the hardware kit layout don't include a blanking plate or cover for when the hitch is not in use. The hitch does come with a blanking plate/cover, so you don't need to buy anything extra for that. I was trying to cover all the bases in advance, and ended up buying one from a trailer shop on a popular auction site. Turns out their stock of them was just takeoffs from hitches they installed where the owner didn't want it or they upsold to something "personalized". A "Reese" logo is good enough for me...

5Outstanding image quality, incredible black levels
By Real Person
This Pioneer 42" HDTV plasma monitor (42A3HD) has outstanding quality, even when you play regular DVDs back on this. It's at its best when you have HDTV content, such as HD cable. I can't wait to get the Toshiba HD DVD player when it comes out in March and get a few HD DVD movies to watch on this Pioneer. The images on this plasma are crytal clear, and the black levels (i.e., shades) are just incredible. Don't settle for a lesser brand. Magazines like PC World and Consumer Report rank Pioneer and Panasonic and Fujitsu (harder to find) as the best. The only (minor and common to all plasmas) drawback is power consumption, but the picture quality is just fantastic.

3Pay attention to the specs
By nathan
The specs on the Amazon site appear great, with features like "3:3 pulldown at 72 Hz". Go to the Pioneer site and download the detailed specs and you'll see that this TV doesn't have that feature, and several others, touted here.

4Great picture quality and value for the money. Good amount of features and inputs for the money.
By R. Kung
I shopped around for quite some time for a name brand 42" Plasma. I looked at the Panasonics, Samsungs, Toshibas and Sonys. This pioneer was the best overall value from a "get the most for your money" perspective. I would say the Panasonic may have slightly better picture quality but you get a ton more features (PIP, HDMI, more inputs) with this Pioneer. This pioneer is not as nice as the ELITE line but definitely a contendor in its class. I recommend purchasing this unit with a credit card that doubles the warranty which is (1 YR Parts & Labor)Pros:- Great Picture quality- Good amount of inputs and features for the price compared to other brand name models in the same price range.- Nice Sound qualityConsiderations:- Wish it had a swivel stand and is quite heavy for a plasma.- Annoyed by the way the inputs are vertical so it makes hooking up components a bit awkward.- I do notice some burn-in but this is common with plasmas in general and there are steps that you can do to prevent/minimize the effect. You just need to do some searching on the internet for the proper way to break-in a plasma TV.
