Product Description

EBC Greenstuff is a high friction kevlar based pad compound designed to improve stopping power on sport sedans and prestige cars for on highway use. The Greenstuff range emits less dust than equivalent semi metallic pads and has been proven in tests to stop a vehicle 20 feet sooner than using stock pads. Pads are fully shimmed chamfered and slotted for silent braking and feature the EBC brake-in surface coating to accelerate pad bed in after install. Greenstuff pads are for spirited street driving, for heavier faster cars see EBC Redstuff or for track and race use see EBC Yellowstuff and new EBC Bluestuff.

These are unbelievably powerful brake pads that must be used with matching EBC rotors, or they will rip apart whatever other rotors you might be using. I have just ordered my third set. Once you go EBC, you definitely cannot go back.

Good for what it's made for

i must firstly mentioned that i previously had the EBC Redstuff on, so my review is coloured by it a bit...the pads work well,, with good initial bite moving into a firm grip when depressed further. the transition is natural, so there's no jerk in braking constantly/slowly.there is little difference between temperatures (though i am in the tropics, so my temp's 25-40 deg C), though there is a barely noticeable performance if pad is wetted prior to driving (e.g. washing the car).the brake force is good, though less than the Redstuff (obviously!). it works well for daily driving on all types of roads and styles. i've pushed them a bit and found they stood up to hard braking and such.one thing to note is that the Redstuff lasted significantly less than other pads i've used, due to it being a performance pad. i'm keeping an eye on the Greenstuff to see if it does as well.all in all, a good product that i'd recommend for daily driving of all types! :)

Worth every cent.

I received these in record time. Well packaged to prevent damage to each other during shipment. I installed them on the car and took my first drive to find that these are incredibly consistent. Although I have not yet passed 1000mi of break in or "bed" in as the EBC Instructions refer to it, I have now since the installation had them on for 3 days. Through thinderstorm and hot hot days, these brakes are truly great. Consistent, bite when you need them to. They look great through my wheels and the noise is almost inaudible during deceleration. I have had to decelerate quickly on the highway a few times today and I was really impressed how quickly these rotors slowed the car and stayed consistent after heating up. They are still really new and have not yet bed in. Just everything I was looking for. I have these same rotors on my 98 Altima that is a sleeper. After bed in you can count on these rotors to stop you like a brick wall. Can't go wrong with EBC.*Edit* Update. I've had these discs on my 2003 Eclipse for several weeks now. I've had a chance to really beat on these brakes. They don't fade under heavy deceleration, and now that they have bed in these are fantastic. When cold they do require a little more pedal input to stop the same as when warm, however I'm using a carbon-ceramic brake pad as well so that contributes to this effect. Fantastic brakes for both street driven and track day style braking. I can't make any complaints against this brake rotor set. I am not yet using EBC brake pads. Will review those as I get them.

great brakes

Dont make my dumb mistake. These are super nice rotors for a 2002 4x4 Explorer Sport Trac but I own a 2x4 and they do not fit. I found that they will be listed even with the 2 wheel drive selected. Amazon return was super easy and I found the much more expensive correct EBC rotors on Amazon.

Really impressed

I swapped out the front rotors on my wife's Ford Escape with these, it was only time to change the pads but I figured I'd upgrade the discs as well. They look great, painted the calipers red while I had them loose. For the price it would be crazy not to buy a set like this, they are way cooler then the factory discs. Make sure to follow the recommended break in instructions that come with the discs(no hard breaking for the first 1000 mi. unless it's an emergency). They grab better and better everyday as the pads and discs wear a little and make good surface contact.

Phenomenal braking with Hawk LTS pads

I've recently installed the EBC 3GD rotors on my 2004 GMC Sierra on all 4 wheels. These rotors, when combined with Hawk LTS pads, are proving to be vastly superior in braking performance vs stock. I have previously used ferro-carbon pads with standard rotors, and while that configuration was moderately better than stock - the difference in using these EBC rotors is astonishing.The quality of this product is very good, and I had no issues installing them on my vehicle. There was a notice or warning included regarding noise generated by the design of these rotors, but I have not noticed any difference vs stock vented rotors.

Good brakes

I put these on my 2006 GMC Yukon Denali with EBC Green Stuff pads. Install was easy and they fit beautifully. My braking was definitely improved, but not quite as much as I hoped. If you really want to stop on a dime I would go with a larger rotor.
