better than expected

I bought this bed cover for my husband for his birthday. (He told me which one to get) He had the help of our 6 yr. old daughter for the installation and they had it done in about 45 minutes, and that's with a childs help...It went on perfectly. He says, it's perfect, never had a problem with installing it at all, it fit perfectly, it looks great, better quality material than he had expected and he is getting better gas mileage (trust me, he checks!!!)The only thing was, he installed it right before dark on a 39* day, so he had to wait until the sun hit it to help "stretch" it out to get the snaps done up on his tailgate.He loves it! It never damaged his truck...which I said it would...and he loves that he can put stuff (golf clubs) back there and have them hidden. (since he did not get the extended cab)Overall, he loves it. (we have had it for about a month now)

Magnaflow 4" muffler

I installed this muffler on my motorhome. It's a 40' Class A diesel pusher with a 350hp Cummins engine. Unit is well made with continuous welds at all the seams. It's not polished, but you could if you wanted to. This is a straight through design and can be installed in either direction. It did seem to increase my performance. Roll on power and hill climbing is greatly improved. It did give a little "rumble" to the motorhome, but we're seating 40' from it and it's not obnoxious. Does sound cool in tunnels and under bridges! I'd use this product again.

well built cover

the cover came on time. it was in a nice box that protected it well. the installation with the allen wrench was easy. only thing is that i installed at night when it was about 45 degrees out, which made it more difficult to stretch the cover over the edges, but i expected this b/c i had an old cover with the same issue.

Rugged and comfortable day-to-day fountain pen

I have a small fountain pen collection and I'm fortunate enough to own some of the world's best pens, including Montgrappa, Montblanc, Delta and many others.While not as elite as some, I have always liked the Pelikan pens. They hold up to day-to-day use, and are generally solid performers with few shortcomings.The Pelikans come in three different sizes ranging from oversized to one that would be appropriate for a woman. I usually prefer this one, which is the middle size...it handles well without feeling too bulky in my hand. It's simple to use...ink filling is a standard piston-type affair, or you can use the supplied adapter to have it work with standard cartridges if you don't like to draw your ink from the bottle.One other positive is that it's an easy pen to clean. I rotate through my pen collection, using one for a few months and then moving on. Thus, many of my pens sit unused for months at a time, and I prefer to drain and clean them rather than leaving ink in the pen. The Pelikan makes this fairly easy by just running water through the filling system.With fountain pens, everything comes down to the feel of the nib on the page. Some inexpensive pens have a "scratchy" feel, or tend to skip across the page leaving blank spots because the ink didn't get fed quickly enough. I usually like a fine point, which sometimes makes this tendency worse. The Pelikan excels in this area, with a nib that feels "right" as it glides across the paper, and the ability to put down a smooth, consistent line of ink. Everyone's writing style is different, but to me, the Pelikan feels every bit as good as some pens costing five times as much.As for inks, I tend to load mine with Pelikan's blue. It lasts a long time and dries quickly on the page. I've noticed some other brands of ink tend to have a gritty feel, or flake off the page in small bits after drying. The Pelikan inks have none of these problems and they tend to be among my favorites.Overall, highly recommended.

I like the pencil. I ordered a .7 mm Pelikan pencil and was shipped a .5 mm Pelikan pencil. I told the company I ordered from so they contacted the manufacturer. The lady with the manufacturer said there was no way I could have been shipped a .5 mm Pelikan pencil. The company I ordered from requested a .7 mm insert from the manufacturer which was sent to the company and then forwarded to me. The company I ordered the .7 mm Pelikan was very helpful and I applaud their effort. The manufacturer was rude and I have yet to receive an apology. I will think twice about ordering their product in the future!John

Sounds Great

I ordered this muffler to replace another brand that only lasted about a year before it wrinkled and began to rattle. The manufacturer would not warranty it saying it appeared to be the result of a backfire which I did not believe since the vehicle is a 2010 in good shape with only 5000 miles on it and I am the only driver. I don't know how this one will last but it is made of stainless steel with a lifetime warranty and it sounds great, not too loud or too quiet. Amazon's price was very competitive with free shipping and it arrived earlier than predicted.

Superb fountain pen

In my engineering days all the draftsmen had Pelikan equipment.Decades after unsatisfactory experiences with two Mont Blancs [scratchy nib on one, a broken piston on the other], I decided that I really wanted a fountain pen again. I remembered Pelikan, and bought one.The gold nib is silky smooth on the paper, with the ink flowing easily and without noticeable pressure. It flows readily even when I'm doing a crossword in bed and the nib is elevated.In addition to superior quality, the Pelikan has another advantage over Mont Blanc -- the nib screws in and is easily replaced [Pelikan has a large variety of nibs, including also italic].I now have four Souveran 400s [which fit my rather smallish hand] and four different ink colors. People with large hands might prefer the 600.A flawless writing instrument.

Great Pen, You'll Love it

I've always loved Pelikan pens, and this one is totally reliable and consistent. It's not too large, not too small, and works like a dream. If you want a great fountain pen, one that uses a reasonable amount of ink (the larger Pelikans, e.g., the 800 series, use a LOT of ink and have to be refilled often), and one that fits great in your hand, this is the one for you!

Does what it was suppose to do

I installed conversion kit on a 1964 Mercury Big Block. Installation was easy. however I was alone, it would have been easier to have another person to turn the distributor in the small increments until the vehicle started. I was in and out of car a dozen times until I got it started. I then set timing as usual. I did install a heavy duty coil also from Mallory recommended for this conversion kit. Since I don't drive the car much. I have only put on 200 miles, but it does start easier when cold or hot and idles a little smoother.

Not Good

The Mallory E-Spark is a piece of crap. I installed it precisely according to the instructions, verified proper coil voltage and ohms, and it wouldn't hit a lick. Their idiot tech support tried to say there wasn't a good ground between the head/intake/block. I guess all those bolts and brackets holding it all together don't count, and my Fluke meter is junk. Stuck the points back in and it fired right up. Go figger. Tested the optical module and it failed. On a bright note, Amazon gave me a pretty fast full refund for defective product.Sam

Easy to install

Great choice for replacing your old ignition points. The included instructions are simple enough for anyone to follow, with one exception: MAKE SURE TO PULL OUT ALL THE SLACK IN THE WIRES INSIDE THE DISTRIBUTOR so the wires don't get caught in the shutter wheel. This may seem like common sense to some, but didn't register with me. Fortunately, I was able to correct this before the shutter ate through the wires.I found that I needed some extra hardware to connect the new wiring harness to the stock ignition coil, but this depends on your existing setup.Overall, great buy. The hour spent installing this kit sure beats maintaining points.

The best of the best...

Yes, there are other beautiful fountain pens out there that work beautifully, but nothing I've ever owned, including Montegrappa, Visconti, Aurora, Sailor, Waterman, Delta, Omas, or high end Parker and Sheaffer pens actually write better than either of my Pelikan 600's. Most don't write quite as consistently well. The Pelikan's an old style converter-only pen, but probably because of that, there are never any issues with getting it to write. If I use it at least once a week it writes immediately. I like fountain pens in general, but if I'm taking one with me to sign documents, write a letter, or make notes, it's going to be one of two models of pen-the Pelikan 600 or the Waterman Carene (another utilitarian winner, for sure!). Oh-from my experience, don't bother with Mont Blanc. Overpriced, unreliable, leaky, fussy and inconsistent. Otherwise quite lovely. Bleccchhh!!

Product Description

This 2.5" OD Y-pipe joins the right and left header in a smooth transition to the exhaust system. This Y-pipe replaces the restrictive factory catalytic converter. Designed to fit 1982 - 1992 Camaro with 265-400 engine. Y-pipe creates better clearance for the idler arm and the collector is positioned in the original location.

HOOKER HEADER EXHAUST Y-PIPE 16767HKR

MY INSTALLATION OF THIS Y-PIPE ON MY 83 TRANS-AM WITH HOOKER HEADERS 2460HKR WAS SIMPLE EXCEPT FOR HAVING TO NOTCH THE GEAR REDUCED STARTER BASE. THE FLANGE INTERFERRED WITH THIS BUT I SEE NO OTHER WAY THEY COULD HAVE DESIGNED FOR THIS SINCE THE BEND NEEDED TO BE UP AS FAR AS POSSIBLE FOR GROUND CLEARANCE. ONCE THAT WAS DONE IT FIT LIKE A GLOVE BACK TO REMAINDER OF EXHAUST. MY CAR IS AN "H" CODE IF THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE BUT NOW HAS A 406 SBC W/700R4 TRANS. A BIT PRICY BUT HAVE YOU BEEN TO A MUFFLER SHOP LATELY - OUTRAGIOUS!
