Product Description

A wideband UEGO sensor controller accurately monitors Air/Fuel ratios (AFR) during the tuning process to prevent a lean fuel mixture, which could lead to engine damage. AEM has combined its single-channel wideband UEGO controller and gauge display into one unit, uniting unsurpassed AFR accuracy and control with an easy-to-read interface. AEM’s Gauge-Type Wideband UEGO Controller features a digital LED display and sweeping LED “needle” that changes colors as AFR changes from rich to lean. The unit’s 52mm (2-1/16”) gauge housing fits in most gauge pods and can be remotely mounted virtually anywhere.

4Great product , fast shipping and easy installation

AEM 30-4100 UEGO was very easy to install. I had it up and running in no time and also made a RS232 wire as well as a Firewire IEEE 1394 (male to male) for dataloging. The RS232 was connected to a Hyper Terminal program found in Windows Xp(Only optional and was used to double check my formula in Live Link..I did not datalog by using both cable at the same time) . The IEEE 1394 cable was connected to a Xcal3 from SCT and used with Live Link to datalog more efficient. I hooked up the 12v cable for the gauge on a 12v ignition only wire on the car and a ground under the dash. Simple as that. Also has lights integrated in the 12v and ground circuit so you don't have to mess with also hooking up the lights as in other gauges. Only downside is the Bosch O2 sensor ,which I have heard that they go bad pretty quick , especially if your car is running to rich .The cost for it is about $60.

5Reads nice and consistent!

If you're looking at this, you have probably souped-up your car and need to keep an eye on your air-fuel ratios.This does that, and does it well. Readings are very consistent and this gauge has a reputation for accuracy.You can use this gauge and also hook it up to a standalone engine management system for data-logging. The gauge housing is plastic...but it doesn't need to be a tank. The wiring is all very good, and not cheap-feeling in any way. Installation was also quite easy...you do need to have a +12V ignition source...and FUSE IT. If you melt a wire going to the O2 sensor, you could ground on the chassis and that could be real bad. This did not come with a fuse, but Autozone has solutions for that.There are silver and black surrounds. The bezel is silver and black for AFR, or black for Lambda. There's a light sensor in the gauge, so it will get darker at night and not flood your interior with light. The sampling rate is quite high, so you'll know what your AFR is at any time. Sometimes the "needle" doesn't light when you're between discrete positions...but I only read the number so I don't care.The picture would make you think you have only 6 inches from the gauge to the O2 sensor, but I think it's probably closer to 10 feet. there's a harness about 6 inches from the O2 sensor, so swapping them out will be easy if/when the wideband sensor breaks. New ones are like $75. Instructions were thorough, too.I'm a relative noob to Forced Induction, but I was able to install this gauge myself in 2 hours or so. Most fuse boxes have a +12V ignition source on them, so you can use that. I'd recommend having a spade female fitting for the positive, and a ring terminal for the ground. I used crimping connectors; didn't feel the need to solder since it's inside the car.

3Decent product, not impressed with quality

This gauge was overall a good buy. It does what it is supposed to do and isn't very hard to setup. For that, it gets three stars (I'd do 3.5 if I could).However, it's not the highest quality product I've worked with. I'm not at all impressed with the cheap plastic housing it comes with (I don't need lots of colors; I'd prefer higher quality parts). The housing is also bulky, so you'll have trouble fitting this into a lot of gauge clusters.In addition, the screen messed up on me about 6 months after purchasing. One of the display lines stop working, so guessing at what number it was displaying was a bit of a chore. Not impressed. I would appreciate a higher quality display for the price.Finally, I found it was a bit flashy and distracting. If that floats your boat, all the more power. But I don't need it to display a lot of unimportant information when I crank the car, etc. I want a simple and elegant read out that is functional.Other than those complaints, this will get the job done. It's not too expensive, but I feel like it costs enough that it should avoid the problems I mentioned above.

AEM’s V2 intake systems use a patented dual chamber design that maximizes horsepower and torque - producing even more power that our own Cold Air systems. On a dyno graph, the area under the power band (or power curve) represents the amount of effort that an engine is producing. The larger the overall area under the curve, the more power your engine is making. The AEM V2 utilizes a dual chamber (using two different diameters and lengths of piping) that creates multiple frequency sound waves to produce the largest area under the curve of any intake system on the market. These sound waves help charge the cylinders with more air throughout the entire rpm range and are what enables the V2 to outperform even our own Cold Air systems. We have found that inlet length plays a vital role in the power production of V2 systems and not all V2 induction systems relocate the filter outside of the engine compartment. In these cases, we performed extensive temperature testing to locate the filter in the coolest area of the engine compartment to achieve the lowest inlet temperatures possible. 5Great Product!

First off, back in March when I was ordering this, Amazons "make sher it fits" imformational tool listed this as the wrong intake for my 2000 Acura TL 3.2. As I have shopped around, including AEM's website, I knew this was the right part. Dubble check when matching parts on Amazon, with parts from the makers website if possible. At time of this review, Amazon has fixed the missmatching issue with this part for my car.As for the intake, WOW! what an im provment! Noticable power increase, guessing 10 to 15 hp, iv monitored 3 to 5 mpg increase, and an awsome sound that roars when you hit the throttle, but is still calm and quite when rolling though neiborhood streets. I love this intake!

I've had an aem intake since I've had my car, 12 years now! I can't believe the difference this new aem v2 cold air intake is versus the original aem cold air intake I had. I definitely feel the difference off the start and just all around. Definitely jolts you in your seat! Awesome sound too!

5V2 delivers the performance and sound for the money

I have had this intake installed for two days and have immediately experienced incredible gains over the stock box. This is partially due to the fact that my resonator box and air filter housing were all loosely installed from some previous owner. Instant gains in fun and drive-ability and is like a mini-engine makeover. Once VTEC hits you will hear an amazing roar and leap forth like a speeding bullet... Oh not to mention better mpg and don't even get me started on the highway improvements.

This is a great item, I put this in my 97 Honda Prelude and I could not believe the different it made. It took a little bit longer then i thought at first. But it was worth it in the end. 2Not Black Filter but Red?!?!?

Great product, not complaints about performance (which obviously is the main thing). However, the thing is my air filter that came with this product is Red, not Black. This may not matter to most people; however, it's clearly not red in the picture. This matters to me only partly because I am dressing my engine up with all black and gray accessories, and this really throws off everything. So I'm probably going to spend more money and change this filter out. Not happy about that.

4Rubs the hood.

This thing made my rsx base sound great. Super easy install for anyone who has basic knowledge of cars.. Only problem is it rubs the hood I had to bend the mounts a little bit. Other than that love the quality of aem products . I'm sure this won't be my last product from them.

I installed AEM short-ram along w/Racing Beat cat-back about a year ago. I made a custom cool box, surrounding the filter element, so to separate engine bay heat. The stock intake location next to hot exhaust pipe is a bad design. With my cool-box I'm yet to hear my engine pinging...(cross my fingers). I cannot tell any hp gains, but my throttle response is much much better than the stock set-up. Also, my motor sounds soooo sweeeet!!

4Good Price and Easy to Install

I purchased this intake for my 2001 Honda Accord. I did not feel any gain in power or increase in MPG, but it made my engine sound a helluva lot better, especially when I hit VTEC. Easy to install, but the filter gets dirty fairly quickly.
