Great thing, not only for DJs

For an amateur DJ as myself (small to medium home parties) this is a great device. It's not only great thing for the "DJ activities". I actually discovered this is a nice way to connect iPod to my stereo system. It provides nice output sound level and iPod finally sounds perfect on my main stereo. This last thing alone is an excellent reason to get this mixer.

A great tool for the Job

I've been using the iDJ mixer for over a month now and it fits my needs exactly. The lighted buttons to control my ipods are very useful. I really appreciate the fader start switch to start the next track when I move the fader towards an ipod.The gain and equalization controls are excellent - what you would expect from Numark.I play primarily for swing and blues dances and would never consider changing the pitch of a recoding so I don't miss pitch adjustment at all.One minor quibble, I think that they should makeclearer the fact that prior-to-click-wheel ipods can't be controlled by the menu and select buttons (the strat/stop & begin/end buttons do work).Well done in general.

Great Mixer... Yet not Pro.

I'm not a pro user of mixers, i loved the unit, so practical and easy allowing a oneself to use all his music library neatly and listed in front of him, no cd's flipping whatsoever...Yet the only missing thing is the pitch control that allows controlling the beat, i doubt that this is doable without recordings on another separate drives...

The Deluxe Librarian Action Figure is a fun collector's item. It is a thing of beauty. It is a gag gift. It is not realistic. It is oh-so-true-to-life.Am I contradicting myself? Then I contradict myself. I am a PK3-8 librarian. Let's see how we compare. Just how realistic is she?*I do not wear dresses. I wallow on the floor far too often. If I must climb a ladder, I don't have to worry that little people below, well you know. I do own two burgundy dresses that just hang out in my closet. I do wear russet pants and a chocolate sweater. Close enough. Or chocolate pants and a russet top.*I have a computer and I am on it everyday! Hmmmm. My students know words like processing books, automating, Dewey Decimal, the 500's, Caldecotts.*No book cart. No, wait, oops, I use it everyday to haul books back and forth, forth and back for automation purposes.*Stacks of books--OK, ALL OVER THE PLACE. EVERY WHERE.*The product description says there are also "loose books." What does that mean--loose books? Were they corralled and some got out and are now loose? Or do they have low morals? Let's look around my library. Loose? Loose? A couple over there. One under the table. Two laying on the shelf, some in a chair. OK, loose we have.*Reference desk. Nope. Too covered with stuff. "Ms Judy, where can I find books on owls?" "Ms Judy, I need a book on a person for my book report. Who do you think I should do it on?" "Ms Judy, could I check out two books today? I don't have any overdue." Reference desk, OK, that would be me, a walking-around, helping me.*Shushing. I can shush all I want, but they will talk any way. Do I really care? They are still excited about books until middle school. I want them to look and laugh, point out and share, to sit on the floor in groups and read things to each other, to lay on floor pillows and read silently. How can you have those things if you have a shushing librarian?To sum up, as you can see, the Deluxe Librarian Action Figure is nothing like me nor I anything like her. But I would love to have one! Enjoyed by Librarians Everywhere...

...or at least ones in Ohio. Purchased this item as a gift for a friend who has enjoyed it tremendously. The one comment I received from them regarding the Deluxe Librarian Action Figure is that her "Shhh-ing" action can be somewhat intermittent. My friend did suggest that it "might just be the batteries". A worthwhile gift for any librarian in your life.

Gotta Get Nancy

If you've "Got Books" - you've gotta get the Deluxe Nancy Pearl Action Figure. No library should be without it on visible display. I'm a practicing elementary school librarian and a big Nancy Pearl fan. Ordered this as a Christmas present for my faithful assistant. She loves it - the kids love it. It brings up lots of discussion and is just plain fun to have around. The deluxe figure with all the extra goodies is a big improvement over the original "plain Jane" version. Now you can practice all of your vital librarian skills with actual mini books to shelve on your working mini book cart. If Melvil Dewey were still around I'm sure he would proudly display one on his desk. It does our profession proud.

Rev limiter is great.

15yrs ago I put the Pertronix in a Ford and it still works great so I was a little hesitant to try another brand. My 1972 SBC needed something and I was sold on the rev limiter, so I bought this Crane Ignition Kit. It was just as easy to install as the Pertronix and works just as great. The rev limiter is easy to adjust and works great.

Crane Cams Energizer Rocker Arm for Ford V8 Engine, (Set of 16) features ordinary stamped steel (or in some instances cast iron) rockers. They rotate on a pivot ball and have substantial friction, while also "scrubbing" the tip of the valve. The roller lifters have both a roller bearing fulcrum and a roller tip, significantly improving efficiency. Crane's aluminum roller rocker arms also reduce valve train weight - especially mass moment of inertia (which is what impacts the valve springs and RPM potential). The aerospace quality aluminum alloys used by Crane also provide an excellent strength-to-weight benefit. The Ford Motor Company selected Energizer rocker arms for their Cobra V-8 production engines and backed them with a full factory warranty.

easy install,good directions and tech support

The product itself performs great,the directions were easy to understand and the tech support Crane Cams has for it's customers is excellant. I had a couple ?'s and tech was able to help me right away. Great product,I reccomend these for any stock pedestal mount application. Oh by the way, I don't think it says it anywhere but they are 1.7 ratio.

f you purchase this rocker arm set I would highly recommend that you upgrade your valve springs. This kit is what you want for your 302 Mustang.
