EASY Install, works good, sounds GREAT!

A long time ago, my wife told me I had to choose between fishing and racing because we couldn't afford both. So with a heavy heart, I chose fishing. Fast forward to the present where I recently acquired a used (but pristine condition) 2003 Durmax Diesel to pull my 20' boat. Didn't fully realize the potential of bolt-on horsepower/torque and the diesel motor until I started checking out YOUTUBE videos on diesel trucks. I was instantly hooked. So just like the old days, I started looking for ways to "personalize" my Duramax(we won't use the word, "Hotrod")and decided to go with Gale Banks performance systems. I believe Mr. Banks theory that his diesel performance systems are designed to work together so I 1st purchased his Ram Air Intake system. It doesn't make sense to me to just install an Air Intake System so my second performance purchase was this 4" single Monster Exhaust to compliment the air intake. Folks, I don't have any special tools or exceptional mechanical skills and everything is done in my gargage on jack stands, just like y'all. Getting the old exhaust out was the hardest part and I had to cut the pipe exiting the muffler to clear the rear axle and finally remove the old system. The install was a piece of cake with the hardest part being cutting the transition tube 9.5 inches to fit my truck bed configuration. The total rip-out and installation was about 6 hours, but then again, I'm not that good (you'd probably do better). But all the pipes fit perfectly as designed and they all clamped together without welding! The 4" stainless piping (not tubing) is top notch and the Monster muffler was flawless and highly polished stainless steel with beautifully TIG-welded seams (looks like machine welds 'cause they were too perfect)! Top it all off with a highly polished 5" OD Banks signature exhaust tip and the whole system is a sight to behold. My truck now has a throaty, aggressive growl and she easily holds 75 mph on the freeway. I'll be honest with you and won't make any specific claims to increased HP/torque because you can only get that stuff off of a Dyno. However, throttle response is a way snappier and steep hills feel like flats as my diesel "flies" pretty effortlessly now. You should hear the roar of the exhaust under load! Banks performance systems is top-notch and darn pretty too! I'm so glad I went with Banks bolt-on performance systems especially since Gale Banks specializes in Diesels! So don't tell my wife i'm an unofficial Hotrodder again plus I can pull my boat with it and go off-roading too! You might say, I've got my cake and eat it too"! Monster exhaust

I just received my order of my monster exhaust,took four days from ordering, Thank you. it took less than two hours for the install and it sounds great. i was hoping it was full stainless but turns out it wasn't.
