I purchased a set of these years ago and they both still look great and sound way better then stock. My 2004 Monte Carlo came with a single side exhaust but has 2 places for duals. I bought this muffler and the one for the other side which is a different part # then got the hardware from the dealer and from Rockauto I got the "Y" pipe.

Great catback system with a mellow tone

Bought this muffler to replace my stock system that developed holes (it's a 1992). It was an easy install, using the supplied clamps and was a perfect fit. I have young children and often come home late at night (past 12am) so i didnt want anything loud. It has a very nice tone even at idle, definitely different from stock but not much louder. A great purchase.

took it to a place to get it installed (had a 3 inch no muffler exhaust on it from seller) and it was silent for a month then when the muffler settled it has a mild tone. this is in no way a complaint its a great product for the price!

Looks nice, sounds almost stock

I installed this muffler on my 1992 Honda Civic hatchback. It looks nice with the 2" chrome tip and sounds pretty much stock at idle and low to mid RPMs (bit deeper maybe), but higher up it has more of a growl. Installation was easy, however the backpipe seemed like it was about 1.25" too long. Not sure if the extra pipe was supposed to be crammed into the muffler? Anyway it was easy enough to trim and it bolted up fine. Just make sure you get new hardware because the old bolts will likely be rusted and a pain to get off like mine were. It also worked fine with the old rubber hangers.

Excellent Exhaust Kit

I purchased this exhaust kit for my 93 Bravada. It sounds amazing, exactly what I was looking for, a nice rumble but still fine for a daily driver. Great Price. I had it put on by a shop and it took less than 30 min to remove the old one and install this one. Also when I tach it out it sounds better than my friends '10 GT Mustang with a $600 flowmaster kit!

Perfect fit at a great price !

Like the title says the system was a perfect fit and looks great. Comes with a stainless steel tip welded on. The muffler is mello at idle but is a bit loud on acceleration. The truck seems to actually run better due to the free flowing system. All in all for the money and perfect fit of the system I am satisfied.

Purchased to replace a very restrictive stock exhaust system. I had tried cherry bombs in the past and all I got was alot of noise with no performance. So I was very happy with this set-up.I took my car to a local muffler shop to install because when it comes to exhaust systems nothing is truly "bolt on". The Dynomax system is alittle louder than stock in a good way , its a performance louder not just noise.The interior sound is very minimal so you can still have a conversation without having to raise your voice and has a nice mellow growl with take off. I also found that the V-8 had a better throttle response instead of the usual lag. So all in all i'm very pleased with my decision to go with Dynomax and would easily recommend to anyone.
