Delphi FG0052 Electric Fuel Pump

Pump came well packaged & works perfectly.I was worried when I first un boxed it because there wasn't that "filter sock" on the bottom of pump, nor in the box but, I read the paperwork & It's newly designed with that filter inside of the sending unit housing & you can see that it is in there! Perfect fit, well made, quiet operation. Highly recommend.

Okay, this is the second fuel pump I've had to install in the same 1999 Jimmy in less than two years. The first pump was purchased on xBay and cost $99. It takes about 4 hours to replace a fuel pump located inside the gas tank. I certainly did not expect to have to do this again. But I did. My car died in traffic and had to be towed home. I checked the fuel pump pressure, and sure enough, it was too low, only 25 psi. The new Delphi produces 55-60 psi and the car runs great again.It isn't worth the time and hassle to buy, cheap, no name parts. I hope I learned my lesson and won't be replacing this fuel pump again.

This is an actual Delphi model part, not a knockoff re-branded cheapo. Just an excellent deal.Purchased for about 250 less than the local autopart store sold it for.Replaced a dead pump on 1999 2WD Chevy LS Blazer. Plan for it killing a weekend to get it replaced unless you have a rack and have dropped a fuel tank on your vehicle before.Total PITA to get the fuel tank off and hoses disconnected, but worth it if you hate paying for something you can do yourself.Note: You WILL have to do some simple re-wiring of the pump wiring harness to fit the new and improved adapter that comes with this pump. But all parts needed come with this kit. You will only need to provide a wire stripper and a crimp tool.
