Looks good, mounting hardware needs work

I received the steps with no problems on schedule. The instructions included with the steps were straightforward and adequate. The only problem I had was with the mounting hardware. I had to go to Home Depot and purchase additional "clip nuts" because the steps are shipped with only one per step. I installed one step with only one of these nuts per the instructions, but the step moved slightly and made a tapping sound when I put my weight on it due to the step not being mounted flush with the car body. It was when I was removing the step I realized that the washers supplied with the steps fit inside the body mount holes in the truck instead of being oversized like they should. (hard to explain, but you will see what I mean when you are installing the steps) This caused the step to be physically mounted to only half of the material thickness of the truck body and made the step feel "softer" when stepped on. All in all, I spent almost $20 at Home Depot on mounting hardware for 4 steps, and the improvement in the step "sturdiness" was significant. I would recommend this hardware changeout to anyone that purchases this item.

Very nice

These were easy to install, and very sturdy. I weigh 200 pounds, and when I jump up and down on the step, it rocks the truck but there's no give at all at the step. They're bombproof!The old lady likes being able to get up into the truck more easily.The finish looks great. I've had them on the truck for 3 years now, and they wipe clean to a nice shine. No rust, tarnish, spots, or scratches... it just takes a little soapy water and maybe a touch of chrome polish to keep them shiny.

Finish is questionable?

This step installed easily. It seems exceptionally sturdy. I weigh about 220 and it doesn't give a bit. The finish is the only area I have some serious doubts about. After only a couple of weeks on my truck they already have what appears to be "tarnish" spots. Waxing is recommended, so I did that the same day that I installed them. I put them on my "work" truck. Not real sure I would put them on my good truck? But for the money you probably can not do better.

This system is very high quality and was super easy to install the exhaust is made of heavy duty stainless steel and shines like chrome. took only 30 minutes to install and sounds fantastic. Would highly recommend this product. very happy with it.

Almost Perfect

If you have a 2000 TJ with the 2.5l 4 cylinder that has a slip on muffler, do not buy this product, Banks has it partially wrong. Use the 1999 and older kit. Jeep did make a lot of '00 TJs with the 2.5l with the older slip on CAT & muffler and Banks knows about it. The rest of the exhaust is the same high quality made parts.This kit went on fast, easy, with the correct muffler, extremely well made, looks great, sounds wonderful. Make sure to have the slip joints tack welded after the system is installed and all clamps are tightened correctly. That will help keep the system from moving and making sure the highly polished tip does not fall off.

Beware of the warranty

I purchased the Battery Tender 4 bank charger-maintainer in June of 2009 through Amazon. Its primarily use was to maintain batteries in my motorhome. After 9 months of continuous use one bank quit working. The unit was listed as having a 2 year warranty, but when I called Deltran Corporation I was advised there was a $25 evaluation fee, even though it was still within the warranty period. There was nothing in the instruction booklet that prepared me for this. It showed the length of warranty for each of their maintainers, but no mention of evaluation fees. I was politely told that this information was posted on their website. Their website indeed showed the "evaluation fees" for each of their products. Basically all repairs are free for the first 90 days, after that you have to pay the evaluation fee. This applies to all the Battery Tender chargers-maintainers. Since the repair, there has been no further problems. It has been in use now for 17 months. Would I have purchase it had I know about the goofy warranty? NO. I am not bummed out about the failure of the unit, "things happen", but I am with regards to the warranty. My advice would be to visit their website and completely understand the warranty before you purchase any of their maintainers.

Only one "short" coming.....

I've been riding for well over 20 yrs and the Deltran Battery Tender is one of the greatest products you can buy for your cycle!!In the early years, I was playing with trickle chargers and/or starting the bike once or twice a month over the winter months, only to always seem to be pushing the bike down the alley come spring, trying to pop the clutch to get her started because the battery didn't make it through the winter with a decent charge....again!About 10 years ago I bought a Battery Tender Plus at a cycle shop's open house. They were rather expensive then, but thought it worth a try considering the sale price. Loved it!!! Still have that original one, although I have been through a couple of the Jrs.With 5 streetbikes in the garage, it seemed like a no brainer to invest in this 4 bank version. Did a little shopping around and found this to be the best deal. I had read somewhere, (although can't recall where), that this model had leads 12 ft long, so I didn't see the need for the extentions. Wrong!!! Leads are only 4.5 ft long each, so I wish I would've got the extentions. 25ft is a bit long and I have seen 12ft elsewhere.Again, fantastic product for the off season or if you're fortunate enough to have a multiple bike stable!!

Great Product - Mounted in the barn

This is a great product that I don't know how I got along without. We have a couple of riding lawn mowers, ATV, and off road vehicles. Every spring we had to deal with replacing batteries, and during the summer after a few weeks of idle time we would have weak or depleted batteries. We have setup all of the equipment with quick connects. Everything stays charged and ready for use. In the dead of winter when we needed to pull equipment out it started without incident. This spring the savings in replacd batteries paid for the unit. Great product.

Awesome Bed Liner

I have a Toyota Tacoma 4dr shortbed with shell.I wanted something nice inside that would not let my fire gear slide all around. This works great. Water gets in on from my top when it pours in the corner and this dries up very fast. I also have spent a couple night sleeping in it and it is comfortable and insults from the cold.Installation was very easy. Zipped together and mounting was easy. The hardest part was installing the extend a bed brackets. The bed liner had the holes mark were to drill out for the brackets, but I found that the stock screws had a hard time going all the through the bed liner. I ended up using just a little longer screw. The other problem is that I had to make my bed extender a little shorter to allow the extra thickness of the liner. Took me about 45 minutes in total.Over all high quality product. Expensive but worth it. The liner also matches my Leed shell interior liner. Looks awesome.

Excellent Fit, Rugged, Great looking

This is the second BedRug I have had in a Ford Super Duty. They are virtually indestructable, great looking and easy to install. I have carried everything from gravel to fine woodwork. The gravel won't damage the BedRug and the BedRug won't damage the woodwork (assuming you clear out the gravel first:) ). It can be washed out with a hose or vacuumed out. In my first truck it was paired with a SnugTop cap, in this one with an Extang Solid Fold tonneau. Love the BedRug, you WON'T be disappointed.
