Nice spin, close, but not quite

This is a spin ring with a pentacle in it. This means that the ring is composed of two bands - the inner band fits your finger and the outer band with the design can move/spin freely around the inner band. It spins very well.It has two other glyphs on it (not shown) aside from the pentacle. I have no idea if they are supposed to mean anything, but they are less complex than the pentacle and are not spaced evenly. I was expecting more pentacles or just the one, so in my opinion, this detracts from the ring.Although the ring is solid and is functionally sound, I have two major issues. First, the celtic band is cut shoddily so in some cases it's practically undefined. Second, the 'dark' areas are actually very light so only provide low contrast, which doesn't make the designs stand out.I give this product a 3 because there technically isn't anything *wrong* with it, but I don't feel it's as nice as it's presented on this website.

Pretty cool ring.

I only had one problem with this ring, and that was for the first few days I wore it.. it turned my finger green. It eventually stopped though. Over all, it's a nice ring-- it spins, it's not too big, not too little. Almost perfect. Great ring.

Good Amp for the Price

This amp appears to be identical to the Pyramid PB-180PX based on the owners manuals. I bought this one because it was black instead of the awful pink that Pyramid uses. I'm using it with a Dual XR4110 head unit and 4 Pyle 5 inch marine box speakers. I have this system set up in my basement now, and will put it on my boat this spring. The audio quality is excellent at the volume levels I will use. For me, the input gain can be set at the minimum, and it still works very well. I've measured the current used at between 1 and 4 amps in my application. I would estimate this amp gives about 8 Watts per channel useful continuous audio power before it begins to distort with my speakers, which is adequate for me. My only criticism is that there are no marks on the input level controls. I used some "white out" correction fluid to correct this. It's a very nice looking unit that appears well engineered. The quality of the connectors is top notch.

Does The Job

This is a inexspensive 4 channel non-bridgable amp. I mostly listen to country music and classic rock and it works fine for me but will be adding a small powered subwoofer later on to increase the bass a little bit. For the price and what I listen to it works fine although I need to add a grounding filter.

Good amp

Good amp for the money. 4 channels allow me to pump music to all of my speakers without needing a head unit. It won't rattle any windows but it is adequate for someone seeking clarity instead of decibel level.

great sound, little price

This powered speaker has its definate pluses: It's light and perfect for the acoustic player who likes to get in and out of the gig without the need for an appointment with the Chiropractor the next day.More importantly, its dynamic quality is also suited for the acoustic performer, as it really embellishes the "nicer" tones of the acoustic/electric guitar, and is ideal for vocals, having great lower and higher mid response. High freq. response is also very good. Lows (around 70-60 Hz) can get a little "dicey" or muddy though.Cons: The front grill seems to vibrate to certain low freq.s (very annoying, still working on it, and don't know if it's only on my unit or a flaw of design). If you're in a full rock band,like I am, it can be used as a monitor. However, it didn't seem to cut it with enough volume.Overall, very good sound for mains for a duo or single act. Price is unbeatable, and size and weight is very managable.

Awesome speaker for the low price

I did a ton of searching for what would work as studio monitors or for jam sessions.. So I wanted to be sure the wattage was sufficient to sit over a heavy drummer... I was shooting for 300 watt on the low end and these speakers were in a similar price range at 800 watt! So far they sound great at medium levels, haven't maxed them out yet.. I do of course hear a slight hiss when speakers are at this level, but I got coming from micro monitors with a digital audio connection. So this hiss is to be expected from analog input. These things were larger than expected. I got a stereo pair... Might be overkill for what I need, but I couldn't pass the deal up.. I only knocked off one star for lack of digital input... But honestly that's just nit picking. Plenty of inputs with their own level / gain control.. Also output for chaining more... I'm thinking of connecting a sub woofer and a high end to each for maximum frequency response at high and low volume(again a bit nit picky) .. But awesome as is.

i accidently stumbled across these subs while lookin for cheap subs online (wus on a budget) red da reviews nd they were aiite so i bout 2 was a lil skeptik kus they say u get for wut u paid but man let me tell u they kik hella hard!!! i jus got 2 hookd up to a db drive 1000watt amp nd holy crap man they hurt my ears sumtimes!!! really recoment these subs if ur on a budget total i spent 190 for subs nd amp all my homies say dat they hella good for being so cheap i herd my homies system he has 2 mtx jackhammers nd a kennwood amp he paid like almost 300 for everything nd they dont compare to mine so if u want good cheap subs get these theyll give you headaches for week :) im addin 2 more to my car so ppl can hear me comin round da block

Best Sub i've owned

OH my lord, Does this sub hit. Coil is huge, very nice. I was not expecting this quality for this price. WELL WORTH IT, this has more range and power than my old Rockford Fosgate Sub. Even at low volume levels this Sub respondes with great sound, and when at high volume level it will sound like a Rock concert in your car. I had heard about Legacy but never owned, I Will buy only from legacy from now on (same sound as R/F, JBL, Infinity, but a lot less money). Matched it with a BOSS 2000 Watt Mono AMp.

Good things due come in "small packages"...very pleasant sound and construction quality behind the affordable price....i have become more versed in this type speaker cabinet thanks to my teenage son constantly adding new components, hopefully the last ( MUST HAVE! ) more so purchased in hope that an 800 watt powered amplifier would operate the speaker cabinet, thankfully the amplifier matched perfectly and the sound produced satisfied my sons keen ear.VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. PS. attach with VELCRO! simple, sticks to carpet cover, in trunk carpeting, fast.

Great value, great amp

So, I priced out several amps, and for me, this one was head and shoulders above the competition.I needed a dual input, because the guitar I am playing is a hybrid bass/guitar (low 3 bass strings/high 4 guitar strings) much like the one Charlie Hunter plays.The only thing that is slightly confusing, is that it is a dual channel (2 inputs, so can play guitar and bass through it at once, or guitar and a microphone etc...) but there are 2 inputs for either channel, a low/high, and the 2 page instruction manual doesn't fully explain the differences of running an instrument through them (and my bass side actually sounds marginally better through the 'high' not the low)It is surprisingly light for it's size, which I think is prolly why it is soo inexpensive. But for me, this is a totally fine, and quite loud, practice amp. The only slight complaint I have is that the bass could sound fuller. I also have no need for the distortion/reverb that is offered on the dials, but don't think that they are too quality either.If you want something pro-quality, this is not the item, however if you just want to get loud, and need a dual channel, this was the best one that I saw for the price, and it 100% fulfills my needs. who ever wrote the review about the amps distortion oviously cannot play. the amps out put is 80 watts but can be increased to 160 watts with an effects pedal. it needs a marshall footswitch to switch between channels and sounds best with a bc rich mockingbird or a jaxville special/custom series 2. it is a great buy and its the best amp for its price/size

NOT FOR DISTORTION

Dont get me wrong. This is a relatively cheap and good amp for playing Jazz or clean sounds. You wont get a better price for an amplifier this loud.Do not attempt to use this for Distortion. You will not get that warm Marshall/Fender/Mesa Boogie sound from this amp even if you use a good floor board with it.If you're a student learning how to play jazz/country/anything without distortion, this is a good investment.Otherwise, dont buy it.
