Good looks and a bit of security

This gas door seems to be solidly built. It installs fairly easily and looks great. I had an issue with someone siphoning my diesel from my truck at work. While I really wish I could find that person choking on my fuel this locking fuel door solves that issue without as many bruises on my knuckles.

Mostly love them

Love the handles. Did not like that i had to rob everything (that wasn't plastic) off the factory handles to make these functional, including hinge pins. You will have to hone out the hole on the handle a little where it pivots or it will be super stiff.

Wow.

Handles look great. But there is a lot of work to reuse all the old internal hardware to get the handles on the truck. It would have been nice to have included a gasket to help seal out moisture, but they do fit tight except I had one handle that I could not get to sit perfectly flush--may have been door panel issue. You may want to create your own gasket with a liquid gasket product, but I figure if water does get in it will drain thru to the drain holes on bottom of the door. Also the door handle do have a little loose play in them. However, I have not heard or noticed any rattling while driving with them.Overall, they are a big upgrade in look over the dull faded black plastic handles. Also, I notice the door handles open easily with less force which is nice. Since these are solid aluminium with chrome they feel and look better then those cheap ABS covers out there. Make sure to get the matching tailgate handle as well.

Great gauges

This kit arrived quickly and in great condition. They are black gauges and the pillar mount is also black. It does not come with a hole for the "bose" speaker. Additionally the supplied pillar mount is a cover for your original pillar cover and not a replacement.These gauges match very closely to the stock gauges in my 2006 2500HD. The installation is not for the faint of heart, you must drill into your exhaust manifold to mount the EGT gauge and in my case I also had to drill into the intake to mount the boost gauge.You will need an odd sized drill bit and a 1/8 NPT tap to mount the EGT probe and the boost tap. To mount the pillar cover, you will need to drill through your original pillar cover. Additionally it would have been nice if this kit came with instructions that were vehicle specific. I had to find all the specifics online.

Autometer Electric, Full Sweep Temperature Gauge

First rate product, extremely accurate and rugged. I would recommend the autometer gauges with a stepper motor for the movement. They are the most accurate and longest lasting in my opinion. I also got the light emmiting diode in blue to replace the standard bulb. I'm very pleased with this gauge series.
