5Very nice quality for the money
By John R. Jackman
Small compact, good glass, heavy... this is no toy, but the weight isn't a factor for me since I bought it for a heavy bull barreled Ruger Mark III anyway. Quick target pick up with the 2x. My first Swift but they are now on my $100-$200 price range "buy-list" Made in Korea, not China.

5Almost as good as a Weaver. Maybe as good.
By Michael J. Edelman
Twenty years ago I used to shop at a small hunting and fishing store a few miles from me- the kind of store you rarely see anymore. The owner was a skilled gunsmith, who worked on English shotguns and other fine arms for his clients. I learned a lot just talking to him, but I was puzzled as to why he regularly recommended Swift rifle scopes- I mean, they're just another cheap Pacific rim import, right? Actually, no. The Swift name may be associated with a lot of inexpensive optics, but they make very fine rifle and pistol scopes.Around two ago I was looking for a 2x20 pistol scope to mount on my Ruger Blackhawk. My first thought was to get a Burris- US made, high quality, right? I have two Burris riflescopes on air rifles I own. But then I read a lot of reviews at Midway that mentioned problems with the reticle coming loose in the Burris 2x20 Pistol scope. The Leupold 2x20 cost more than the gun, so that was out. I've had good luck with BSA scopes on airguns, but their under-$50 scope looked a bit lightweight. Then I started reading reviews of the Swift scopes... and discovered that the owners were pretty much unanimous in their raves. Some said they were every bit as good as the Weavers. Amazon didn't stock them, but Midway had a sale, and so that's where I ordered mine.RIght out of the box I was impressed with the finish. The model I ordered had a polished blue finish that was really striking- like an old Weaver. So far, so good. Optically, it was clear, sharp, and contrasty. I mounted it on the Blackhawk via a Weaver Base 301/ Scope Mount for Ruger Blackhawk, boresighted it, and took it to the range.Several hundred full bore loads later, the scope is still holding its zero. I'm very pleased- so much so, that I might just order the stainless steel version for my Mk-III Hunter.

5Short sight relief
By Adam Dickerson
Exceptional quality and a great value for the price. Very clear optics, I am very impressed. Large view, just wish the sight relief was a couple of inches longer. I have short arms and could not recommend this to someone with long arms...worth a try for sure though.
