I had purchased another brand of fuel pump for my Dodge Dakota about a year ago. That pump failed in just under a year. I order and purchased this pump after I found out the other brand I order has a common failure rate around or just over a year. This new pump is a "stock" pump for my truck and fit better in the seal area and even had a Crysler stamp on it. Once I had my fuel tank back in the pump works great. Since this is the same style as my original pump in the truck I expect it to keep on running for a long time. In fact my original pump was still working at 140,000 miles. I changed it out to fix another issue. Next time I will go with the stock brand for a vehicle instead of a sub par aftermarket when it comes to fuel pumps.

shipped promptly, unit was top notch, even had OEM tags on it.Before this, had replaced wife's fuel pump with an auto part's chain store pump, thinking i was OK.One year and three months later (3 months after warranty) she gets stuck in a big city...fuel pump died.This one is OEM, and was cheaper than the chain store pump.I installed this one, and now am more confident for her safety while she is in that automobile.I wish I had gotten the first replacement from here. Then I would only had to drop the tank one time!Pump was shipped quickly, and was packed well.Again, now both my wife and i have more peace of mind while in that vehicle, thanks to this pump.
