This is nice and shiny. Good quality stainless steel. Easy to clip in, it come with clip bracket that goes through the hole of the tip. Very professional, not like those cheap one that sell at the autoparts store.

Need larger one that is actually embossed

I ordered the embossed one so that it could replace the smaller tip that my Borla system came with. It's nice to know that there is a quality exhaust system with the embossed tip. Anyway, gotta return it cuz it's not what it's supposed to be.

Perfect Fit

Was a full days work to install but I didnt have to cut/grind anything. Only had to modify the nuts at the exhaust flanges to get the converters connected. Looked like a well built header. Hopefully time will prove it to be stronger than the factory junk that cracked.

Sounds Great

Installed this system on a 2005 F150 with 40,000 miles on it. Had the dealer do the install, they had no problems, and it wasn't very expensive. The system fit perfectly, sounds fantastic, aggressive under acceleration but is very nice on the highway, doesnt' drone or intrude when you are just driving along. Really nice sound when you first start it up in the morning, it really announces that the truck is ready to roll.

Great Exhaust

I did a lot of research on exhausts for my 2006 Mustang GT before I purchased the Borla S-type exhaust. It is fairly quiet at idle and cruising around town but when you step on it it has a nice growl to it. My neighbors know I'm in the neighborhood that's for sure. At about 60MPH their is a noticible drone. It's stainless steel so it is built to last. More expensive then some other exhausts but it's worth it.

Perfect System !

I am very happy with this Borla Exhaust System. Now my Mustang is other car, It feel more powerfull either in low revolutions or hi revolutions. The sound is perfect, not to loud, but with a perfect frecuency. The instalation was very easy, in 2 hours the system was set.

Nice Upgrade

I cannot comment on the install as I paid for the labor to do it for me. No check engine lights, no adverse performance, the car is running great. The exhaust frequency is fanstastic, the volume seems to be a little on the loud side once the car gets warmed up to full operating temperature. The sound is not annoying to me, but is louder than stock and gets louder as the engine and pipes heat up (not expected but ok). The car is running great and acceleration is mildly improved (mildly) this will not make a race car out of your 3 but will add some fun for a marginal cost. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Keeps the nice exhaust note with a little more muscle tone, and not any rasp like a fart can exhaust. Really woke the performance up as well, and there is a noticeable increase in the engines power. Car has more pull in the upper gears and gets up to speed quicker. Very good value for the cost!!

Borla for WRX - nice

The product was exactly as advertised. Sounds great, workmanship good and installation a breeze. The only disappointment was lack of replacement gasket. Borla had the nerve to say to use the old gasket instead of just dropping the right size replacement in the package. I had to go treasure hunting on a Saturday morning and was lucky to be able to order a close (not exactly right) replacement over night from Advance.

EZ to install. A lift is recomended. With my 03 WRX install it does seem that the Left hanger on the Muffler needs to be shorter and the Right does need to be longer., but sill works. You will have a small clearence issue if you have a Rear Diff skid plate wich I do. Just had to remove one bolt which doesnt effect its performace.Exhaust sounds GREAT. A nice Low tone, But over 3000 Rpm it really Speaks up.

A Porsche sound alike

I simply love the beautiful, deep throated sound of these Borla pipes on my 2003 WRX. It now mimics a $190,000 Porsche running a stair-step cam when it idles. I didn't want the high pitched wail of a motorcycle, which is often what I hear in aftermarket cat-backs. These duel pipes look stock to the casual observer but sure don't sound stock when it fires up. A very nice "sleeper" touch. The install was a little more difficult than I expected but doable. The power increase is felt as soon as you step on the gas peddle. I have also added a K&N Short Ram air filter, a "fuel chip" as well as replacing the heavy stock front pulley with a very light weight aluminum one so it's not always easy to attribute which upgrade is responsible for any particular power increases but these pipes sure didn't hurt my little yellow rocket. *smile*

perfect sound

i have a 2002 rsx type s and I hate ryce. this is the opposite. (whatever that would be called). I looked at them all-skunk 2, greddy, etc and borla was the throatiest and least ryce-sounding car exhaust. theres a video on youtube that demonstrated the sound. this was a serious upgrade to my corroding exhaust and im very pleased.

Borla ATAK Axle-Back Mufflers

How is there no reviews on this item yet? Borla is the best that money can buy, and the ATAK'S are the premium in the lineup!! These are without a doubt, these have the absolute best deep sounding rumble I've ever heard..period!! Installed them on my 08' Mustang GT and I couldn't be happier!! Honestly, my words can do no justice for the overall quality in every aspect....sound, quality of materials, welds, etc.. Not to mention that no other place even comes close to matching Amazon's price, which is $486 at the moment!! Everywhere else, I've seen them range from $620-$800!! All the other popular brands like Flowmaster, Corsa, etc, are not bad by any means, but in comparison to Borla, they all seem like garbage. There's a reason they cost half the price, and thats cause you get what you pay for. If you're on the fence about this, seriously don't settle for something less to fit your budget, get the best!!!!!
