Product Description
The latest in sport rotors features wide aperture slots that draw cool air into the braking contact area and reduce temperatures preventing brake fade. Dimple drilling avoids stress cracks and the new gold anodized EBC finish provides great looks whilst preventing corrosion. EBC sport rotors now feature reduced 3 slot venting which provides slightly less air noise under heavy braking whilst still maintaining the benefits of cooler running with the full width slot design. The design of these rotors means that some wind noise is observed and if drivers feel they would find this offensive they are advised to select the quieter USR Ultimax series or the EBC plain rotor. Another great feature of slotted rotors is the way they maintain flat and parallel pad wear and avoid the record grooves or galling common with non-slotted rotors. This improves pad contact and braking throughout the life of the rotor and pad set.

Worth every cent.

I received these in record time. Well packaged to prevent damage to each other during shipment. I installed them on the car and took my first drive to find that these are incredibly consistent. Although I have not yet passed 1000mi of break in or "bed" in as the EBC Instructions refer to it, I have now since the installation had them on for 3 days. Through thinderstorm and hot hot days, these brakes are truly great. Consistent, bite when you need them to. They look great through my wheels and the noise is almost inaudible during deceleration. I have had to decelerate quickly on the highway a few times today and I was really impressed how quickly these rotors slowed the car and stayed consistent after heating up. They are still really new and have not yet bed in. Just everything I was looking for. I have these same rotors on my 98 Altima that is a sleeper. After bed in you can count on these rotors to stop you like a brick wall. Can't go wrong with EBC.*Edit* Update. I've had these discs on my 2003 Eclipse for several weeks now. I've had a chance to really beat on these brakes. They don't fade under heavy deceleration, and now that they have bed in these are fantastic. When cold they do require a little more pedal input to stop the same as when warm, however I'm using a carbon-ceramic brake pad as well so that contributes to this effect. Fantastic brakes for both street driven and track day style braking. I can't make any complaints against this brake rotor set. I am not yet using EBC brake pads. Will review those as I get them.
