Product Description
The B&M Console MegaShifter automatic shifter gives the driver a choice. Left in "Drive", the vehicle is allowed to shift like a normal automatic, but the driver can also choose to take control and get results similar to a manual. By being able to shift quickly through the gears, the driver can maximize the engine's torque curve, and improve the driving experience. It features full ratchet action performance, cable operation for easy installation and precise shifting, and it is sized 12.98" long, 12.61" high, and 6.57" wide. The base can be trimmed to custom fit any floor, which is useful for applications where the vehicle does not have a factory provided console, or it is no longer desired.

A pretty good shifter with one quality blunder :

This shifter fits my application perfectly, and really is a good unit with one glaring quality issue; The black plastic skirt/housing is so flimsy that it breaks or cracks in the box during shipping. You can say it's just not packaged well by B&M (which is partly true), but it's just so flimsy that it's bound to break sooner rather than later anyway. I had to return the first one due to it being badly broken, and then the replacement was received cracked. I elected to keep this (cracked) one and reinforce it myself to keep it from breaking the rest of the way, but I should have sent it back as well.Although Amazon has an awesome return policy, this is one product that should be purchased at a speed shop so you can inspect the skirt BEFORE you buy it. Upon picking it up it takes about 2 seconds to realize this thing will break if not careful. Shame on B&M for the flimsy skirt.

Very well planned product. Works with most major auto trans. The tall base is excellent for use in full sized truck/van.My application was a conversion (93 F150 5speed to old heavy C6 that happened to be a car trans) .No problems installing and adjusting the shifter.

Mega shifter

I have not installed this unit yet it was recommended by a friend. The name be inanimate in the price for the unit I like that's why I purchased. I would recommend it to a friend. When I install it I'm sure I will be pleased.
