This is an innovative and unique truck bed liner. You get the look and comfort of carpet, in an ultra-tough 100 percentage polypropylene (essentially plastic) product. That means not only will it protect your truck bed from impact dings and damage, it will stand up to the most harsh conditions you can throw at it: from gravel to battery acid, while still protecting your precious cargo and your knees. Molded to fit your specific make and model, this liner looks great and fits like a glove. It creates a void-free surface without damaging your truck and allows easy access to factory tie-downs and accessories. Its non-skid surface keeps your cargo in place, and a built-in hinge between the truck bed and tailgate prevents debris from collecting. The BedRug material is fade and UV resistant. Made of foam similar to that used in life jackets, it doesn't absorb water and will not mold or mildew. Water will simply run off the surface, through the zippered perimeter, out the factory drain holes in the truck bed and will dry in as little as 20 minutes. Best Bed Product on the market...

Ron Wise developed this product as an off shoot of his plastics business and NASA involvement. It is my 2nd truck with the liner, If you are not a cattle rancher or a diesel engine transporter is is a fine solution to a moderate use truck bed. It will wash out mud and spills but I would caution odor of manure or gas if you have a tonneau and you don't put plastic or something down as a just-in-case additional protection.Bed Rug is OEM for Dodge and you can pay $100 more for the Ram logo from a dealer. Install is simple, clean the bed and use alcohol wipes before sticking the 3m Velcro tape. I installed mine in the winter and took the extra step of using a heat gun on the 3M contact area to bring it up to 65 degrees or more.It stops your stuff from sliding around inside your bed, but is a complete nightmare if you put fishing poles without covering the lure/hooks (my fault not the product)

Beware metal on hot days!

I purchased this item in October 2010 for my new (used 2008) Ram. It was fairly easy to install and withstood the Utah winter well (including car washes). However, I have discovered that if you have any metal pieces such as pipe or steel remnants sitting on the bed during hot weather with the sun shining on it the metal will heat up and melt the rug down through to the plastic substrate leaving ugly melted scars like somebody hit it with a blowtorch. In fact, the first time I saw one I thought someone had thrown a lighted cigarette on my new bed liner. Just a heads up. Otherwise I am very satisfied.

Great fit and finish, installed in 30-40 min. Looks like a million! very cost effective compared to regular spray on liners w/o scuffing your paint. I will recommend to anyone.
