Great Affordable Clutch

Let me just say if you are replacing your F150 clutch, this is a no-brainer. Compared with the stock F150 clutch, this drives like butter and still has 30% more towing compacity. I ground down my flywheel, put a .00025 shim behind the flywheel to make the friction point closer to the floor, and put this clutch on. Now my truck's clutch is easier to depress (why I don't know considering it's heavy duty), catches just off the floor, pulls heavier loads, and now just about drives like a car. For the price I give it 5 stars and whish I had installed it earlier. Actually, my 02 F150 with only 65,000 miles on it was having trouble going into gear. You could pull up to a stop sign, take it out of gear, let the clutch out and then depress it again, and it was nearly impossible to get into 1st or 2nd. You had to shove, I thought my tranny was bad. Took it out, tranny looked fine but so did the clutch!. It looked great, no one at the transmission shop could figure out why it was doing it. I replaced the pilot bearing, throw-out bearing, ground the flywheel, put the shim in behind it and put this clutch in and that cured the problem. Hope all this helps!
