The Competition Engineering Fuel Tank Sump Kit has been manufactured in-house from mild steel for ease of welding and has two pre-welded 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch NPT (Numerical Precision Tracking) bungs to ensure adequate fuel flow. Installation instructions are included and welding is required.

The sump is about as well made as one could make such a product. There are a couple things I'd do different if taking the time to fabricate one from scratch, and the value of this sump is dubious considering how easy it would be to make your own, but it's still a fine product.
