Decent replacement

The product/mirror itself is not as nice as the factory. The specs are pretty right on. Although the mirror does not fold flush, as did the original. But it does fold in enough. This really isn't a big deal.The glass at 45mph+ does shake. It is not nearly as sturdy as the original glass, or set as well. But at a discounted price, you can expect this. If you want the exact mirror as the day it came off the line, pay the $200 through your Jeep dealer. My 2003 Grand Cherokee wasn't getting that sort of love. The new tires cost me enough.Installation was efficient and easy to do. For those of you that haven't had to take their door panel off to replace the wonderful window regulators, some instructions would be nice. But this was much easier than a window regulator (20min for entire process). Remove 3 screws from your door panel, pop off the plastic molding, disconnect 2 wiring harnesses and your mirror is ready for replacement. Remove 3 nuts from existing mirror (I reused those), remove mirror and place the newly purchased mirror in it's place. Lock it in, re-attach power (and test), snap door back in place, and tighten in the 3 screws. Done!!!

good replacement

This was a good replacement part for my jeep, the electrical plug was almost too long and overall the assembly seemed as good as the original part that broke.
