Didn't fit

My vehicle is a Suburban. Application said it would fit Suburban and pickup. It may fit the pickkup trucks but it is a different story for a suburban. Fortunatly I had a good muffler man who could modify the tail pipe to get around the self leveling shock absorbers and the gas filler neck to get the job done. Once installed I really liked the outcome and it sounds great vs. the resonance of the prior mufler.

Gibson Exhaust 2500HD

Great system!!! I just installed my new Gibson exhaust (about 2hrs) on my 2004GMC 2500HD extended cab truck and couldn't be happier. I was looking to add some horsepower without adding that annoying sound and drone of some systems. Gibson cat back, dual in/out muffler was the perfect choice. Greatsound and fit using original mounts and the look of the dual polished chrome tips really finished it off. This exhaust system is WELL WORTH THE PRICE!! The fit, appearance and engineering of the pipes and muffler is exceptional. HOWEVER: It is beyond me why a company would invest such time and pride in designing an exhaust system that fits and sounds as well this one does would use such poor quality NON STAINLESS clamps and hangers. The rear hangers that support the tailpipes are such awful quality and appearance that they would make Manny Moe and Jack blush..The system is a week old and you can see the rusty hangers in the rear wheel openings.. My advice: BUY THIS SYSTEM!! its the best sounding system for your Silverado. The pipes and mufflers will excede your expectations of quality.. But if you are particular about your truck, plan on spending another 100 if you want stainless clamps. and Plan on a little fabrication time and additional materials if you want hangers that dont look like a Jury rig.Incidentally: This is the only system that doesnt make that horrible drone resosnance noise that people always complain about Gm trucks with dual exhaust.. You will be happy with the sound.. its powerful but not annoying and there is almost no noticable interior resonance.. I have a 2002 Extended cab shortbed with a 6.0 gas
