Shifter crazy

I spent weeks trying to locate a shifter for an 82 Camaro 2.8L 4-speed. This was the best shifter online that I felt I could come up with and was recommended. Well it did not fit the car, is made more for a V8 with the bracket included. I would have had to extensively cut the floor (which directions said may have to do). I did some other modifications to the orginal bracket to make it fit. As far as the shifter and what all comes with it, you can not beat the deal and it shifts Great! Very close ratio. Amazon is the least priced place I found it.
