5Unbeatable Quality/Price
By dolive11
This exhaust was purchased for my 2004 Chevy Avalanche. This product is of great quality and sound. It is a perfect fit for this vehicle with all pipes and clamps lining up PERFECTLY! Instalation was straight forward and accurate. The most difficult part of installing this product actually had nothing to do with the product itself, it was the headache of removing the old factory exhaust. You can very easily install this exhaust yourself if you have your own automobile lift (which I have), or according to the instructions, you can install it using a jack with stands. (It seems that this way would be very difficult to do since the old exhaust must be cut and maneuvered in an awkward way to be removed, also jack stands don't seem to provide enough ground clearance)Here are a few tips for installation:1) replace the supplied nuts with lock-nuts (all of the vibration associated with everyday driving conditions will loosen them over time otherwise)2) pick up 2" flange bolts (it's highly probable the original ones will break)3) use a torch to heat up the flange (the old nut and bolts will come off easier)4) remove the spare tireThe sound rumbles upon starting. It is mild while in park/neutral, but aggressive while driving. Enjoy!

5Gibson Dual Extreme

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2RJ9QVX9X9FVK I installed this exhaust on a 2005 Chevy Avalanche, with a 5.3l V8. All the pieces were well made and easily fit together. Install was a breeze, especially seeing as when I got to the garage where I work I realized that I had forgotten the directions at home. All of the hangers lined up perfectly and the pipes fit where they were supposed to without issue. The only set back I had was getting the nuts off of the flange bolts. That was solved by taking a torch and warming them up cherry red, then using an air ratchet and they came right off. I put a little never-seaze on when I put it back together. The easiest way to deal with the old exhaust is to make one cut with a sawz-all just ahead of the axle the it comes out easily in two pieces. I didn't totally remove the spare tire but I did let it hang which made things much easier. All in all the exhaust sounds great and as stated went together easily without a problem. Definitely recommend to anyone with a similar truck looking for a nice exhaust note without being obnoxious. :)

5Easy to install
By Michael Smith
Installed on a 2000 Suburban 1500 4WD. Overall installation was easy, with one small catch: the model I have came with a (long disabled) load-leveling system. The air pump for that load leveling system interfered with one of the hangers on the kit. It had to be relocated slightly to have a good fit. I don't consider that a shortcoming of the kit, however - it is well made and well designed. The sound is nice, but not obnoxious. I am quite pleased.
