If you 'need' these to correct a lifter preload problem on a Ford (and probably MoPars), they are a reasonable alternative to a top end engine disassembly and cylinder head machining. You do have to use the Crane Cams roller rockers or at least know that the bottom side slot of the rocker arms will clear the base of this modification - Comp Cams rockers will NOT clear.Be aware that this is not a modification for a radical, very high lift camshaft with high rate valve springs as you still have a 5/16" thread size stud in the head regardless of the 3/8" rocker arm exposed thread.
