I bought this kit to replace my true dual custom flowmaster 44's! My custom setup was aluminum now my Gibson is all stainless steel! Most definately not a loud exhaust system if that's what your after. Light rumble at idle and slightly louder while driving because of the louvers in the muffler, but the flow is amazing.1000 to 3000 RPMS pulls great my 98 Tahoe feels so much better running now with this exhaust. If you want ZERO exhaust leaks get a Seal All strap type exhaust clamp system! You will need 2, 2 1/2 for intermediate pipes and 1, 3 inch clamp for the tailpipe section! I would have used a seal all kit from the muffler to the over the axle pipe but there is not enought room for the band to seal both sections so I used the 3 inch clamp that came with the kit and had to use an impact gun to get it to seal 100%! Overall this kit looks great and performance feels nice, but like I said if you want a loud system get a chambered Flowmaster 44! Do your research first if your hesitant about louvered or chambered mufflers, in the end you'll be happy like me! After maybe 6 months the exhaust does reach a louder tone when everything inside the muffler recieved several heat cycles!
