ZDDP Oil - Valvoline VR1 Racing Oil

No need to purchase ZDDP additive with Valvoline Oil. I researched Valvoline Oils and all VR1 Racing oils with all grades contain the highest levels of "ZDDP" Zinc/Phopohorus levels for Vintage Engines. Amazon has the Best Price online at this time for this Grade of Oil. Best Product, Best Price!

We have C1 and C2 Corvettes (1953 - 1967 ). Todays oil works on engines with roller cams, old technology need a zinc additive to lubricate the hydraulic and sold lifter cams of yesterday. Valvoline does a great job doing this. I do suggest a zinc additive for extra protection such as ZZDP plus.

Works well. From what I read this is good oil for antique cars, has all the right ingredients to prevent wear on non roller bearing lifters.
