Low dust EBC Redstuff is a superb pad for fast street use and targets high HP imports, muscle cars and prestige european cars. EBC Redstuff ceramic pads reduce dust emitted by OEM pads by approx 80 percent. Redstuff pads also reduce rotor wear so that rotors and pads last longer whilst delivering great brake performance. Excellent brake pads for fast road driving

These are great brake pads, they are very linear over a wide range of temperature, from cold to extremely hot. I have the ECS big brake OEM conversion, which basically involves fitting Audi A8 rotors. The effect is to shift the brake balance more to the front and to reduce brake effort slightly.The other thing you need to know is that these require slightly higher effort than the Green Stuff, which also work just as well for normal fast road driving.So what's the difference between red and green? The red stuff is linear but requires higher pedal force, the green stuff requires slightly more force when cold than when warm. So with red stuff you hit the brakes and modulate them according to how fast you want to stop. With the green stuff you hit the brakes and they brake increasingly hard as they heat up, so when you are slowing from speed you need to reduce the pedal force as the brakes heat because they work better as they get hot.The next best I have tried are PBR ceramics, they work about as well but they were slightly small, so they rattled in the caliper when I drove over bumps. Eventually the rattling drove me to EBC.
