Product Description
Adding this B&M SuperCooler keeps the ATF and transmission cooler, and keeping a vehicle's transmission cool is essential for dependability, especially in performance applications. The unit is designed to be very efficient for its size and weight, to cool much better than an ordinary 'fin and tube' cooler, and to reduce the risk of lube system failure. Using fluxless, oven brazed construction for vibration resistance, it is built out of lightweight aluminum alloy and features a revolutionary 'stacked plate' design with multiple oil flow paths. The unit monitors resistance to flow by allowing a controlled amount of ATF to pass through a self-regulating orifice. Controlled by viscosity, thicker ATF is returned directly to lube through two bypass openings in the stacked plate core, while thinner ATF is directed through the core to cool as operating temperatures increase.

Great Auto Trans Cooler

This is an excellent automobile automatic transmission cooler for your car. It fits nicely on most cars right in front of the condenser and radiator. Just remember to put some insulating foam between this and the condenser. If this cooler touches the condenser it will transfer the heat to your conderser coils and reduce the efficiency of your A/C system dramatically. The only better cooler is an even bigger cooler.

Bought this for my 2001 lexus when i had my toyomoto shift kit installed. This install was a snap with no complaints. Had this on my car for about six months so far and so good.

A few weeks back, I installed this transmission cooler on a 2001 Honda Accord EX Sedan (4-cyl), and I'm very happy with quality of this product. It's well constructed and included everything I needed in terms of brackets, clamps, and hoses for a complete install. The instructions were a little shy of perfect, but they were adequate for the job. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.(Keep in mind that this is a "universal" product, and you will need to tailor the installation to your specific application. Tool-wise, I'd recommend at least a cordless drill and bits, bench-vise, socket set, box-knife, and your basic screwdrivers. After installation, you also may need to add a little extra AT fluid, due to the additional capacity of the cooler and hoses, and to make up for any fluid lost during the process.)
