This necklace is rated AA or L1S3R2. Its luster is rated "AAA" or "L1" meaning high luster with clear reflection; the surface has blemishes and is rated "A" or "S3" and the shape is rated "AA" or "R2" meaning it is off-round. Each pearl among the necklace is carefully selected to be excellently matched. Each pearl is double knotted in between by hand to protect the pearls from rubbing against each other. The clasp is a beautifully carved rose in CAREFREE sterling silver. Our CAREFREE sterling silver is plated with quality Rhodium, the most tarnish resistant and most expensive member of the Platinum metals group. Disappointed

I have a hard time believing that these pearls are AA quality. They are of a very nice size, but every single pearl has significant visible flaws. And the luster is not that amazing. Well, when you wear them, they still look nice, but I believe I could get a better product for the price. Previously I purchased pearls from the Amazon collection that were described as A quality. They are nearly perfect, and the luster is fantastic. I payed for them significantly less than these pearls that I am reviewing. I was torn between keeping or returning them for a while, but I will be traveling for a long time, so it looks like I am stuck with them.

I wanted something beautiful and precious for a young person of my family who lives in America, I live in France, so it's difficult to choose far away, I read what you wrote and thought it was the product that will be enjoyed and it was!
