Muffler Tip

Looks great. No signs of rust after 3 years. Easily wipes clean with a wet paper towel.It should also be noted in the description that this is a resonated muffler tip... not that it really matters, but it might to some. It was one reason for me getting this particular muffler tip.

I purchased two of these to replace some tips I bought from ebay a few years ago. The ebay tips are identical in appearance same except they don't have the integrated resonator/muffler like these do. Without the muffler feature, the tips resonated very loudly and added a lot of rasp to the exhaust sound. These quiet it down quite a bit.The only thing I don't like is that they look a little strange since there's a panel just behind the opening, with a 2.5" hole in it. It makes it look a little funny compared to the ones I had before, which had the pill shaped profile all the way to the back, where it was too dark (and carboned up) to see that the inlet hole is circular.To solve that cosmetic problem, I masked off the outside and then painted the inside black. It looks much better that way (more like my old ones).I'm using them on a 1988 Fiero Coupe. The tips fit the exhaust cutouts perfectly.

I bought this item based on a few things. One, being it was stainless steel. I had found using exhaust tips that arnt to pit and start to rust. Living by the coast, that matters. Second, magnaflow makes a nice product and backed there product with a good warranty. Lastly, I was looking for this type of style to put on my car. It went good with the muffler I also purchased and sounds good.
