Best improvement for the WJ

Great upgrade from the stock sway bar. Makes the WJ feel like it's on rails. Worth every penny. Easy install with few tools.

Probably a bit too stiff, even on the street

Based on this sway bar's excellent reputation, I bought one to address the "head bob" sensation my stock 2002 "overland" (with upcountry suspension) WJ has.In the factory configuration, there is a thick sway bar up front and a comically small sway bar in the rear, so when encountering uneven pavement the vehicle body "follows" the front axle exclusively, causing left/right rolling sensations that shake passengers uncomfortably side to side.I had hoped that this Addco 1" sway bar would serve to match the front axle's sway bar & cause an averaging of "roll" when the front or rear axle encounters uneven pavement, but it seems to be so stiff that now the body follows the rear axle's cue, basically being just as uncomfortable as it was before. There is no doubt that the vehicle feels "tighter" now, but I definitely cannot call this a net improvement as it did not actually correct the problem it was intended to address.I think there's a 7/8" diameter version of this available, which might be a smarter option.

Without a doubt this bar has made my every day drive feel much more solid. Living in crappy Cleveland, Ohio where the roads are awful this bar has made handling the roadways a dream. No longer do I suffer from the odd "motion" the vehicle would place on me or my passengers. I would highly recommend this upgrade to anyone that owns a 2004 Grand Cherokee!!
