How about a lift???

I put a set of these, and aftermarket coil springs, in a Mercury Grand Marquis. They replaced the automatic air spring assembly. That assembly is notoriously $$$$$ EXPENSIVE to repair. A quality shop installed all of it for $250. MONEY WELL SPENT......We tow a trailer all the time, and the load varies. This unit allows adjustment of the rear height, and firmness of the ride.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.....One note.....the other option is air shock absorbers....I have used those for 30 years, and finally abandoned them in favor of this unit, AND A SET OF HIGH QUALITY REGULAR SHOCKS. Air shocks are a compromise, and the shock absorber action never seemed to be as good as the best regular shock absorbers. I am far happier with this unit.

the product does what it was intented to do I highly recommend this product if you want tto tow behind a current model car without spending a lot of money on expensive products where this product works just as well

Good product, does what it's supposed to do!

I bought this kit for my 2011 Ford Crown Vic LX. My car only has 20k miles on it, but I feel that the civilian Crown Vics have soft/mushy springs in the rear as compared to the police version. The PI versions seem to sit up higher in the rear, while my car and most other LX's seem to squat slightly, which I didn't like. Rather than pay big bucks for new OEM police rear springs, I decided to try this kit out. It works well, raising up the rear to a height I like. The tradeoff is the slightly firmer/more bouncy ride in the rear. If the trunk was loaded down and I had two rear passengers I'm sure it wouldn't feel so rough, but with just a sub box in the rear, the maximum of 35psi feels pretty harsh. I've since lowered down to 28psi and found that to be a good tradeoff between the height I wanted and the quality of the ride. These are also excellent for towing as well, as I've read.
