Low dust EBC Redstuff is a superb pad for fast street use and targets high HP imports, muscle cars and prestige european cars. EBC Redstuff ceramic pads reduce dust emitted by OEM pads by approx 80 percent. Redstuff pads also reduce rotor wear so that rotors and pads last longer whilst delivering great brake performance. For optimum lifetime in track use EBC still recommend drivers to upgrade to their Yellowstuff or even the new Bluestuff range but if fast street is what you need, EBC Redstuff Ceramic is the pad to choose.

Awesome Pads for Spirited Driving

I installed these pads about 300 miles ago. I machined the rotors (as you should with any new performance pad) and installed these with new NAPA hardware as the pads did not come with slide clips. After the "Brake-In" period of 200 miles (which only had one small squeak when stopping) they increased in efficiency and stopping power, so it was easy to tell. They dust moderately compared to AC Delco pads, but the dust does wash off easier than most other pads. I took them out and stress tested them by taking them from 90mph to 30mph three times consecutively in my Grand Prix. Not only were they confident in stopping the car everytime, but the grab was predictable and consistent and increase a little bit with temperature. I let them cool because I dont have slotted rotors and I was worried by the time I felt fade the rotors would be heat cracked. After cool down and since then I have not had ANY noise, these pads are dead silent. My rotors show the black witness marks of heat but no glazing from the pads at all. I am thuroughly impressed as a mechanic that insists on installing OEM everything. I tried these on a whim and I am not regretting it, I will install these on my own cars from now on! Edit: 3k miles later, can I add a sixth star? They don't dust as bad as they used to, they are quiet down to below freezing winter temps and still stop great, they are even super thick still.
