Product Description
The Flex-a-lite reverse rotation flex fan is designed to provide maximum air flow at low rpm and the least amount of engine drag of any belt fan at higher rpm. Less resistance at highway speeds equals more horsepower and better gas mileage. Blades are made of stainless steel for durability. This fan must be used with a fan shroud.

Flex-a-lite 1519 Flex Fan

The Flex-a-lite 1519 Gold Star stainless steel fan has greatly enhanced the cooling ability for my 1993 Silverado pickup. The coolant is running at least 15 degrees cooler in this 100 degree weather. I anticipate that the fan will also enhance the life-span of the waterpump. The downside to this fan is the greater fan noise emitted when engine speed is increased. I am not sure if the increase in noise is because this vehicle rotates the fan in a counter clockwise direction. Another issue that arose was finding the metric bolts in the length necessary to mount the fan with the two inch spacer that was required.

These fans move much more air then a clutch fan and are so much lighter and so much more efficient.Great purchase!
