Product Description
This Flex-a-lite #280 Chevy Truck fan is built for the demands of a truck. As a direct bolt-on electric fan kit for many of the 1992-1999 Chevy and GMC trucks, this fan is the answer to the overheating problems caused by slow, inner city driving, and can solve the cooling problems that occur with body lifts. Up to 17 additional horsepower is transferred to the wheels by removing the mechanical fan, resulting in a gain of as much as 3 mpg in fuel economy.

Perfect for my hot rod

I tried a few different things but this was the only thing that worked. The sensors/relays work perfectly. I also really like the polished metal shield they included for attaching to the top of the fan assembly. Looks really slick.

Does not fit all '99 Silverados

Despite what Amazon says, if this is for a '99 Silverado 6.0L, it may not fit. Check to see if you have the new body style ('99 and a half). If you have the new one, you will need the 282 model.
